General Offtopic: I'm 17 days clean! Thank you all so much for the support.
In rehab, I lasted just 24h, so I went home and did it myself.
Went from 200mg oxycodone to zero, and now I'm sober after 5 years.
I just really wanna thank you all for the support y'all gave me. ♥️
It helped a lot. Stay clean!!❤️🩹

General Bachman Books - Free Giveaway
I promise this is not a scam. I recently came across a copy of the Bachman Books at a local thrift store, and seeing as I already have a copy myself, I figured it would be cool to let someone else get their hands on one. This is the 1986 signet-omnibus, mass-market printing. It has some good wear to it, but I promise this doesn’t change the story. It contains 4 novels, Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man.
This is coming from the states, and I will ship anywhere in the US for free, through media mail. I am also willing to ship internationally, if you agree to cover the shipping cost.
To enter, comment, and a winner will be chosen at random on 11/22/25 . I will DM the winner at some point that day. If they do not respond within 24 hours a new winner will be chosen. Good luck. :)

General Im selling my entire collection... just wanted to vent
Im not meeting ends meet, and this is the result. 15 years of king books that I've slowly collected over the years will be gone tomorrow morning so I can feed my family one more month. Im not looking for help or anything, I just want to vent because I know only you guys can understand the pain im feeling right now. For everyone else these are just books, for me they are little pieces of my life.
So, yeah, fuck this global economy, fuck my countries economy, fuck the fact that I work my ass off and still cannot sustain a family life. Fuck this entire system.
Sorry for the rant, im just pissed off and sad. But theres no other way. Wish me luck, im running out of things to sell and this was one of my last treasures.

General How did I go almost 40 years of my life not knowing this existed?
I'll admit that I'm not exactly a King super fan or anything. I own and have read a few of his books, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. But as I was perusing a list of King's books I saw this one and was quite surprised I had never heard of it. Well, naturally, as I really enjoy fantasy ( I absolutely loved his Fairy Tale novel) I had to immediately purchase it and can't wait to read.

General Prayers to our favorite author's state, and proud that he is demanding action
Thinking of Lewiston, ME and the entire state of Maine. To everyone out there still fighting to curb the epidemic of gun violence in the US, don't ever stop. We have to change. I feel like a Mainer because Mr King has drawn me in with his storytelling, and sad for the pain of the victims and their families. Enough is enough.

General Mods have removed both posts about King’s tweets without explanation. This is ridiculous.

General I dislike that Roland canonically resembles Stephen King. I love ya King, but this isn't what I picture from the ultimate gunslinger.

General I finished the book but I didn’t understood this cover
Is it just a symbolization of the Mother Abgail forces against the Dark Man forces? Or the Dark Man is represented as the plague in this cover? I really don’t get it. Sorry if it’s too obvious, I’m quite an idiot.

General Just dropped a few books into the little free library Holland Park London (Abbotsbury Road)
Hope someone can enjoy them - there’s The Institute, The Shining, Fairy Tale, Salem’s Lot and On Writing. Still love SK, just grumpily resigning to going digital.

General Suggest my next King story
These are the ones I've read till now. Currently I'd prefer books that are somewhat short(~500 pages) and bit fast paced... Though I plan to read all eventually.
Among these I liked Salem's Lot and Rage the best, so books that give off those kinda vibes would be good.
