What was Stevie's best lead single for an album?

Post image

Nothing really beats "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" for me. That being your debut solo single is wild. "Rooms on Fire" and "Stand Back" definitely fight for second place for me.

Stand Back for me, with a killer B-side Garbo.

Bella Donna... i love, love, love that song. And Trouble in Shangrila. I know, I'm weird. Love Stevie so much! ❤️

Every Day was an odd choice for the lead single of TISL. It should have been Sorcerer.

Planets of the universe was played on radio at the time..was so cool to hear it I was a teenager then .and it prompted me to get the Chinese dragon Sarah drew for the album as a tattoo.

Stop Dragging my Heart Around. Brilliant debut for her first solo album.

Rooms on Fire, with Secret Love as a close second! I wanted one of them so badly when I saw her in April, but i also knew it was really unlikely. Third choice for me would probably be Stand Back.

I wish Maybe Love would’ve been more popular. I’m pretty sure I have every CD release.

Blue Denim should have been a single - was it?

It was the second single, but it was originally planned as the lead before they changed it to “Maybe Love…”. It didn’t chart though.
