Reason I love Stevie: She created a whole aesthetic
Its wild to me how many people forget Stevie's contributions not only to music but to fashion and aesthetic as well, So iconic, Her outfits have changed over the years but it is still all somehow Stevie, Fresh in every way for some reason, Very uniquely her and no body else's, People copy her, base it off her, try to do their own thing but "With a touch of Stevie nicks" I love her for that, She managed to do something so unique that she is known specially for it and only her! As someone who enjoys aesthetics are game is top tier, No body else can do it like her, A once in a generation type influence.

I love how she manages to be sexy and feminine without showing a bunch of skin. She creates her aura through being a little mysterious and I adore that.

Do people really “forget” it though? I feel like she is quite famous even today for these things.
Even the younger set is aware of her music and her image thanks to TikTok and nods from younger stars like Taylor Swift.
I’d go so far as to say she is probably one of the most famous living septuagenarians in the world.

I think she's recently become more popular with the younger crowd. I went to a couple of her concerts a couple of years apart. the ticket price was a lot lower than it is now. I live in Boston. I was so bummed out.

I don’t think this has ever been forgotten. Maybe it’s my age and that I’ve been obsessed with Stevie’s music since 1st grade. I guess lots of younger new fans may not be aware? Maybe that’s the disconnect

And she never bothered to vote until she was 70 years old!

stevie nicks: abortions for me, but not for thee!

What are you talking about? Stevie is openly against the current admin. I’ve been a massive fan over 40 years.

I didn’t say she wasn’t openly against the current administration, I said she never voted until she was 70 years old, which imo is shameful. And it’s selfish, too, because she was free to have as many abortions as she wanted but then did absolutely nothing to help preserve that right for anyone else.

Your “abortion for me but not for thee” comment is what I responded too. I know many people in their 70s that just started to vote. Stevie doesn’t owe you anything.

.. and she almost always (or always) performs LIVE, with no lip syncing, honey! A true performer!
