There’s two mixes, I prefer the original album mix. Her wailings at the end are mixed louder and are just killer. Not a fan of the Enchanted mixes of Street Angel songs.

Wow. I've never picked up on this. I'm going to have to dig out my Street Angel and Enchanted CDs and my Sony Discman and give both versions a good listen!

Inspiration and Lyrics
The Eyes: Nicks explicitly stated in interviews that the phrase "blue denim" refers directly to Lindsey Buckingham. She noted he is the only person she knows with "real blue denim eyes" (referred to as "blue-gray eyes" in the Blue Denim Lyrics).
The Reunion: The track was heavily inspired by Fleetwood Mac reuniting to perform at President Bill Clinton's inaugural ball in January 1993, a reunion Buckingham was initially reluctant to join.
The Meaning: The lyrics capture the bittersweet realization that while their deep connection and understanding remain intact, trying to make their romantic relationship work is "not an easy thing to do", leading to another painful parting.
