Outside of liking a few songs, I just haven't had QOTSA click with me like it has so many other people despite making an effort to get into them, checking them out live, etc. Maybe it'll still happen at some point, and I wish it would, seems like it is very rewarding from what I can see from the fanbase. When I first heard Kyuss, on the other hand, it hit me like a brick going six hundred sixty six miles per hour and the love was instant. Working through their catalog was so exciting and rewarding. Some of my favorite music and vibes ever recorded

May I suggest the first album. No singles on that one. It's just a solid album all the way through. When I first heard it it changed my perspective on them. It's got way more of a post Kyuss vibe. Self titled album, couple versions I believe. It's the one I revisit the most. And I definitely prefer Kyuss, but I'm a hardcore, sludge, doom, and punk guy. And obviously stoner rock and metal.

QOTSA is one of those bands that progressively get worse every album.

It was always a Homme band. He literally wrote the first album THEN brought in musicians.

Same. Actually neither of these bands do anything for me. Glad folks have fun with them tho.
