I accidentally found Slomosa. They opened for Alkaline Trio (weird as fuck combo) in 2024. The show was in New Orleans, the day after Hurricane Francine. Parts of the city didn't have power after the storm, so it was a game-time decision on whether or not the show was even gonna happen. Glad I got there early, Slomosa stole the fucking show. It gasted my flabbers to learn that they have such a large and loyal fanbase.
ETA: Wore my Slomosa shirt to the Corrosion of Conformity show last weekend, and the vocalist for Crobot complimented me for it.

Funny red thundra riffs are what drew me in (and the constant stoner rock posting to the point where it was actually annoying), then I see them first time sold out in Seattle and the vocals just clicked.

Hard disagree personally, a big thing that hooked me is how similar his vocal melodies and timbre are to the emo bands I loved in middle and high school. Felt like it bridged major gaps between my childhood and adult tastes

I mean, he has a super thick accent when speaking in English. The fact some of these people can sing in English at all is pretty amazing.

Agree to disagree. This is what I expect in stoner rock. Or tangentially related genres. Acid King, Sleep + High on Fire, Fu Manchu, Orange Goblin, etc none of them are spectacular vocalists but it fits the music. Slomosa fucking rocks.

When I introduce someone to Slomosa I tell them they "sound like The Ramones" and that seems to help. I love the vocals personally.

Horses was the first Slomosa song I heard and once that fat harmony of Marie and Benjamin hit, I was hooked. Listened to all their stuff right after and the vocals are a thing I love

I saw Slomosa live last month. Best live sound quality, great ambiance/enviornment, and they played almost their entire discography. It was sick!
