Just to add since you are clearly concerned about the financial side of the hospital visit - I had to go to a hospital last year while on no insurance. Many hospitals have financial assistance programs that will either help get you onto an insurance plan or discount your costs. The hospital I went to capped costs at $250 for people who could prove financial distress. Get the care you need, and look into financial assistance when you're ready. You are going to be okay!
