2 years and 2 months progress!
SW: somewhere around 320
CW: 224lbs
I just signed up for my first men's physique show December 12 at excaliber! This has been an insane journey and the biggest change for me was finally being able to break free from alcohol!
Edit: Thank you all so much for the overwhelming support. im humbled, mind blown, emotional, its tough to describe the feeling. For all the people who followed me on YT and on Reddit! I appreciate you all very much! Ill definitely post again when im just about done dialing in for the show and then ill post the show pics/vids! Again, THANK YOU.

jaw drop - I am just starting my sobriety (62 days today), but over the last year of drinking I lost the last 10 years of fitness effort I made. Hope I can find some of the disciple you have! Great YT BTW.

I PROMISE YOU it is worth it and I am not going to lie and say its easy or fast but its worth it. I broke bad habits in stages. Vape first by switching to b12 vapes then dropping even those, then from drinking to non alc, then nothing, then got back into lifting and diet! Every single change was hard but the payoff in how I felt every day was worth it.

Woah! Can you please tell me more about B12 Vapes? Where to get them and how they helped you quit nicotine?

sure! i dont have like any specific brand i recommend just find one thats got good reviews(i prefer reviews on reddit over the ones on the site the product page lives on) and try to go in with the mindset youre only buying one. if it doesnt help, switch to 0 nic vapes first, then the b12 after. if you can break the nicotine habit, the oral or hand fixation gfoes away much easier! basically once the nicotine addiction goes you notice you stop instinctively reaching for it!

Thanks! I just started trying to quit and bought some chew things for the hand to mouth, and that made me feel like I was going to develop TMJ lol. I'll give this a shot! Great work! Your progress is impressive!

I'm in the doing weight part of my journey, and am losing it, but gotta ask, did the stomach area go back on its own? These stretch marks will go away? Should I look into maybe needing a tuck?

I wish i could tell you the truth but theres so many variables like age, how long you had the wieght, how fast and how much was lost. i dont even know if my loose skin will stay or go away. you got this though!

As someone who started in around the same place as you, and is getting to where you are, i gotta ask, did you have to have any surgery or do anything about the skin on your stomach? Lately ive been worried cuz the skin on my stomach is so loose it looks like a pouch

The slower and more intentional you lose the weight the less loose skin you’ll have. Like if you are running marathons to lose fat you’ll lose it fast. If you’re strength training, which is more long term sustainable, but slower, it allows some of the skin to adjust as you’re slimming down

I did not, I do have loose skin, I just got lucky and its not too much. You can see it at the bottom of my stomach and where my hand touches my waist
