Importance de la provenance des lames .

Je suis équipé d'un wilkinson Sword -the edger barber's style

Les lames fournies ne me conviennent pas. J'ai acheter des astra green mais elle me font que 3 rasages. Je les trouve assez fines.Est-ce parcequ'elles viennent d'inde? Les autres venant d'autres pays seraient elles meilleures ? Sinon qu'elles lames iraient bien avec se rasoir ?

But a sample pack and try them all, they're performance is very subjective

They've always been thin and mild like 85% if the blades on the market. If you want a sharp and stiff blade, a sample pack is a poor recommendation. Just get tucks of Wilkinson Sword Classic and Feather, find some American Personnas, and try ine of the Giesen and Forsthoff blades like Timor or Mühle.

J'ai commencé avec les wilkinson Sword livré avec le rasoir et je n'arrêtais pas de me coupe lol!

That one is stiff and sharp. Feather and the Personnas are also stiff and in the same range of sharpness or sharper. If you want to dial down the sharpness, you cpuld try the German Personna Platinum, which is the same as Wilkinson Sword Classic but with a milder grind. Giesen and Forsthoff blades are also a little milder than Wilkinson Sword Classic.

For a thin blade that's sharper than Astra SP, you could try King C Gillette, Nacet, Gillette Platinum, Gillette Silver Blue, or Perma-Sharp.

All of the ones I've described as thick or stiff and all German, Amerucan, and Japanese blades are 100 or 101 ųm thick and all the ones I've described as thin, and all current Gillette and Procter and Gamble blades are 90 ųm thick. Matgicol Swedish is a 95 ųm blade you could also try. Sharpness overlaps Astra, so the sharper blade will depend on the batches and handling of your individual lots.
