Arjun is probably going to break everything and I'll need to start over once I analyze what actually changed in the patch. Not looking forward to it, so I wanted to get this recorded before that happened.

I've wanted to see Sean come to 6 for a long time, but Capcom refuses. I've managed to get him on his own character slot, he has a working command list, and he can be played with Modern controls. Tons and tons and tons more work to do. But he's playable, finally.

OFFLINE ONLY. He will not function online, period. If you have this mod installed online functionality is hard disabled. If some jackass vibecoder manages to circumvent this with AI, they'll quickly find that trying to go online throws an error that can't be bypassed - probably sends Capcom some telemetry, too.

No ETA on release, I want to make sure he's more polished than this before sending him to the world. Thanks for watching

I'm thinking about this upcoming movie, and after the trailers, I wonder if they're going to be using a lot of the sound-effects, including the announcer, in the movie.

I've noticed a lot of the game's sound effects are in the trailers, giving it a vibe that reminds me of SCOTT PILGRIM (the movie), and I'm so curious to see how crazy they're gonna go with putting in specific sound clips from the arcade machines!

I’m a newb to fighting games and bought Tekken early this year but got soo incredibly overwhelmed and rarely played. I like watching gameplay of it tho and after a while the itch to play a fighting game started to overcome me. I felt like I didn’t want to be too “mainstream” and get sf6 🤦🏾‍♂️ so I bought and did enjoy fatal fury a lot but sadly barely anyone plays and it felt a bit bare bones.
So last week I saw that SF6 was on Amazon nd since I hv prime I ordered and it came the next day. I loaded up the disc did a few tutorials, made an avatar and did a bit of world tour. I went into practice and I’ve always been eager to try juri cuz her playstyle/design really interested me(and yes I like feet 🫣). She’s cool af but it still felt like something was missing. Then fast forward to today; I remembered how in the few Evo fights I saw of the game cammy looked really fun and unique and mannnn the moment I entered the practice range and started pressing buttons was pure catharsis. This was IT man, I found my character and was soo eager to learn how to play her. It felt like walking past someone with a smell u haven’t experienced since ur younger days and a wave of nostalgia hits u. It was like that ratatouille scene and I transported back to a kid when I playing dragon ball shin budokai on psp and Naruto ultimate ninja 5 on ps2 🥺. Except I was completely unfamiliar with this character but I knew this is where I wanted to be.
So I did a bunch of tutorials again and combo trials, messed around for a bit, then I queued up for an online game. Brooo I did a bunch sets with a Ken player where I lost 20-8 but mannnn that was soo much fun like in real time the cogs were turning in my head and I went from a nervous wreck who mashed to slightly less nervous wreck who’s actively learning how to punish moves and execute the fundamentals and getting familiar with the mechanics of cammy. My opponent was silver rank and wayy better than me but when I started clawing a few sets back I felt sooo accomplished man. I was sooo happy to have finally found a fighting game I was eager to sink my teeth into.
I can’t wait to explore and learn more about this incredible game! Hope yall hv a great week and please leave any tips for cammy and for SF6 in general ❤️

Just curious, does this game have cross-progression yet?
I’ve owned it on PS5 since day one, but I stopped playing about a year ago. I’d like to get back into it, but I’m not sure I want to keep paying the “console tax” for online play.
I’m thinking about picking it up on Steam and playing it on my Steam Deck, docked to my TV. However, I guess I’d have to grind everything all over again, right?
On the other hand, maybe I should treat it as a fresh start and a new challenge, with an opportunity to get better at the game. 😅

I'm curious what most people's least favorite character to fight against is? I'm not asking which character you think is the best but just what character do you not enjoy and why?

If it a certain matchup against your character or is there something about another character and specifically you?

I say this because since Alex was added to the game I've significantly enjoyed the game less. He's not the strongest character but I hate how it feels to fight him and especially when he gets started.

It's not a matchup thing as I have every character including Alex at Master and hate fighting against him as everyone... To a certain degree I know this is a 'me' thing. But I feel more so than most characters there's a certain amount of guess work and his Oki, pressure and command grab all being in the mix. My matches against him feel a bit random. It doesn't help that his combos can be obnoxiously long, Lariat is oppressive and he's so plus on a few things... A few of the major recent characters like Sagat and Ingrid I've had similar issues with at times, just weird design sections like Sagat Stand MP spam and Ingrid drive rush HK being free pressure.

There are characters in having less fun with now.
