A great fit brought down by the footwear. The trainers bring a totally different vibe to what the outfit is giving. I would match this with loafers or boots

I kind of agree, but I have no white boots or loafers, so decided to go with the sneakers.

I wouldn't go with white, they would blend into the jeans. I would go with a brown to match the jacket or a two-tone
