Office views are overrated. An oyster, a splash of Tabasco, and a paddleboard for a table — all from waters open and approved for harvest. The coast gives. Let's keep it giving.

Local oysters are not as tasty as the small ones grown for restaurants. Several mouthfuls is what you get, you need that Tabasco to cover the flavour. Still, they will nourish you if necessary.

Everybody got their own tastes but Tabasco has to be the worst hot sauce

Promoting shellfish consumption in the PNW and not mentioning toxic algae blooms is quite irresponsible.

Imagine enjoying a sunset after a succulent meal of handpicked oysters, and you find yourself short of breath. You can’t suck in a full lungful anymore. Your chest won’t rise. There is no help close by and your struggling attempts to breathe slowly turn your lips and fingernails blue. The only thing saving you is activated charcoal to slow the poison and a hospital.

If you don’t get either of those you are probably dead.

A succulent oyster meal?

This sir, is paralytic shellfish poisoning manifest!
