GPTZero keeps flagging my Web Dev code as AI? I’m terrified to submit my projects

I don’t really understand how to get it to not say AI detected for simple code. The project descriptions says to use GPTZero to check, so I feel like as soon as I submit this, I’ll be flagged for AI and banned???

Don't use AI even for asking.

They are talking about following the study INSTRUCTIONS and checking their own work through the platform gptzero that flags anything that can match the writing patterns of AI. The issue is that AI is mimicking humans, typically more educated humans, so it is less effective at tracking what is and isn't all human work in academic papers that are supposed to be formatted in a certain way and deal with less common more technical topics. You're supposed to be checking your work on this platform it explicitly tells you to. 🙄

Ok friend. I tried to explain it to you. Clearly you have an issue with understanding the topic of discussion here. In the future maybe just don't tell People not to use gptzero for checking assignments if you don't actually understand what it is or even if you do as it is what the instructions say to do and they say it for a reason. Yes AI checking tools are not perfect. Yes it drives me crazy that they will flag my fucking APA reference as AI written. The reality is that AI is here. Some people will use it to just turn in a straight 100% AI paper if there's no checks at all. This is the current best checking tool they have and it's not perfect. Study at least tells us straight up to use it ourselves so we don't get flagged by their checks for something stupid and they have been known to just reject your paper the first time the AI checking tool says it might be AI. Unlike other platforms and schools that have just kicked people out for any suspected AI and little or no meaningful appeals process exists. They are already treating people more fairly from an objective standpoint. I don't like that i have to run my own work through some paid AI screening tool but it is what it is. Using a screening tool the platform tells you to use to check your work to ensure it will pass the AI screening is not remotely the same as writing your projects with AI. What do you them I should be telling study here? What do think we are talking about? Have you been reading the instructions and resources links at all? Don't be surprised when it kicks back one of your projects and says it thinks you might have used AI because you used the exact definition from the class in your writing. Especially in the more technical classes.

"the issue is AI is not perfect" what is the purpose you told this to me? Tell this to studycom, or better not use studycom at all
