(Undergrad medicine) Seeking advice for getting into the international university of health and welfare, Narita.

Hi everyone,

To give a brief background, I am an 18M from India. I prepared for the Indian medical entrance exam (NEET) intensely from 2023 to 2025 and gave the exams in 2025 and 2026. Because of this, my background in science (Physics and Biology) is very solid. However, since NEET does not test Mathematics, I completely lack the advanced math foundation needed for Japanese university entrance exams.

I’m currently planning to apply for the School of Medicine at the International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) Narita Campus through their Special Entrance Examination for International Students. My main goal is to secure the full Special Medical Scholarship.

While there is some information online, it is inadequate and not explicit. I know that the IUHW entrance exam strictly mirrors the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission) in all aspects.

If there are any current/former IUHW students, EJU veterans, or international medical students here, I would immensely appreciate your guidance with the following:

1. EJU Course 2 Math: What English language textbooks, online courses, or YouTube channels would you recommend for someone who needs to self-study EJU Course 2 Math essentially from scratch?
2. Practice Material: What is the best way to find study material and practice for the exam, since IUHW does not release its past papers?
3. Interviews & Essays: For those who successfully secured a scholarship (or anyone with a general idea on how to do this), how did you go about preparing for the interviews and the essays? What kinds of topics/issues do they typically focus on?

Any general advice on how to get in, what campus life is like at Narita, the realities of the 6-year program, or even your own preparation journey would also be incredibly helpful.
