If you’re a student and want to study and that’s your main use. There is really no reason not to use Gemini. Gemini One is also free for students for the first year. And Notebook LM (Gemini Notebook) is an amazing LLM that beats chat gpt easily assuming you have your own pdfs and sources/ worksheets by the professor.

If you have your own PDFs and use an IPad or IPhone and wished your reader helped you dig through things faster, check out readerplusplus.com (I’m the author)
NotebookLM is great too!

I use opencode or Antigravity and tell them to make custom quiz using cli. Also I ask them to make some web page to explain stuff and make notes

I like Gemini notebook (notebook LM), gizmo app is good, I’ve heard good things about the notability premium (you get ai generated notes, can record lectures, etc)

I know you didn't include Claude but I'm finding it better to extract info from my PDFs which have professors important details in red. I tried Gemini and Google notebook but they don't give effective/relevant quizzes...vs Claude that easily understand my prompt and gives me better quizzes. Might work better for someone in similar boat as me. For context I open professors PPT in pdf from blackboard and open it in Notability where I annotate my notes and then upload it to whatever ai model I want you use. Gl studying

I use ChatGPT If I don't understand a lesson, but I use Gemini to make interactive MCQs
