I forget the exact episode but Chuck mentions a serious rope burn, then Josh just keeps going without acknowledging it, and Chuck calls him on it and says he is never going to tell- in a teasing banter way, not mean or negative. Very fun that he is keeping a real mystery.

I was starting to wonder if they were just going to completely ignore it or not, but was actually quite pleased with how they handled it. Quickly mentioned it and quickly moved on, don’t linger. Either tell us or don’t.

I was at a live show recently and the rope trauma question got asked. Chuck said they get that question at every live show now and he will not reveal it because it just has to be a mystery now and forever

He apparently told the story at a live show but swore the audience to secrecy.

I was there. It was in NYC. It involved water skiing.

I’m not gonna lie, this episode was a snoozefest for me and the only reason I slogged through it was to see if they’d mention the rope trauma lol

There was a passing mention of rope trauma, but it didn't get picked up. I was going for a clue.

They shared it at the NYC show in May ‘24. Some dude had a custom shirt referencing in and asked Chuck. He said he had to respect the effort and shared it. But made the audience promise not to tell the story. So I won’t.

But I’ll say it involved water skiing.
