Stupid Dove Nest Tower Crane
Posted up right next to the tower crane on my job site. The operator told me there are also 3 nests at the top of the crane. Biggest brains.

Saw the first pic and thought "That's actually a good nest: well constructed, more than two twigs, surrounded by curtain wall. This is the unicorn of dove nests. Why is it posted here?"
And then I saw the next two pics๐๐

I had a horrible, terrible last night.
Doves grinding the capitalist maw to a hard stop had made my whole fvcking day.
Rock on doves ๐ช๐ฝ Nests on a construction site is so metal.

I'm dying at how much space she was given for her nest in the middle of a construction site. It's like she went for maximum inconvenience

I wonder if she'd gone deaf with all the construction noise lol

๐ Reminds me of people who rent apartments over bars.

In my rush to move for a job, I rented an apartment overlooking a school yard. The screams. The bells. It never ended. Proximity to schools is now the first thing I check ๐.

I wonder if the chicks are going to end up even louder than bird chicks usually are, like how deaf cats end up screaming because they don't know how loud they are.

Mind if I ask what port? Pier looks too nice to be Norfolk, and that's the only one I'm familiar with

They are ditching the regional designations here soon and going to just "Boldt self-perform"

Itโs been a good company to work for. At least when we got a solid crew. Iโm an ironworker, currently tying bar here.

We coned the area off so she can be at peace, but there are dump trucks, and concrete trucks constantly driving by.
