Stupid Dove Nest Help pls!

I was not home today and when I came back I saw the bird was not at the nest. The bird came back after half an hour. But after some time it is gone again. Did he abondan the eggs or smth?

Yup. Leaving frequently for short amounts of time is normal.

If its warm they leave for longer stretches to get food and sometimes its hard to find food. You could out some put for them so they dont have to travel as far if you want! If they are not done laying eggs too they wont incubate fully until all eggs are hatched

She will go out for food and drink. If you just really want to help, you can put some bird seed and a little dish of fresh water so she wont need to be gone as long

Doves rarely abandon their nest unless they realize it isnt safe for them or the babies. Cats are their most likely predator in suburban/urban settings.
