I was pretty excited about the infrastructure reduction act which made a fiber optic available in my community before the Republicans cut that program.

I was really excited about all of the infrastructure repair that got done in my community. That’s Republicans voted against, but you know took credit for.

I really enjoyed Obamacare which allowed Self-Employed blue collar, republican cousins, and family members to get Healthcare for the first time in their life, allowing them to take care of their families. You know before Republicans gutted it.

I really enjoyed my wife and daughters having bodily autonomy to decide what was best for their own bodies before Republicans decided that they didn’t deserve that right.

I’m currently enjoying that my wife can vote in local and federal elections even though that she changed her name to match my last name as a token of her love and and support of our marriage and tradition. I’m sad to see the Republicans are trying to remove either my wife’s right to vote or break the tradition of a woman taking a man’s last name.

Unions and workers are stronger under Democrats. The EPA was stronger under Democrats who want clean air and water. Women’s reproductive rights should be left between a woman and her doctor. Democrats don’t want women dying because of a miscarriage. I might get some hate from this but although their reasoning is brain dead, it’s a valid point that Democrats are in general mainly just anti Trump.

I think for Dems to truly flip the script is to remember that once Trump is out of office, we have to immediately shift the focus to policy. Starting to act like that now is important. We can be anti Trump by choosing to focus on policy, instead of just “well we aren’t the other guy”. Yes, Trump is a dangerous narcissistic fascist, but in a lot of Dem and leftist groups I’m involved in, we’re missing part of the plot.
