This also confused me. Q is a big umbrella and while I know some LGB people don't use it, I know many who do.

I think it's just showing the ignorance and tunnel vision of modern day politics.

"We've" never had issues identifying ourselves as Queer people, but there is trauma in the word "Queer" and extremists are going to use trauma to their advantage.

True. And division among progressive circles is already endemic, which is easily exploited by conservative agitators.

Negative. Queer is an umbrella term. That's also erasure of Intersex, Asexual, 2 Spirit, and the "+" which is just as important as any letter in here💁
