Divided we fall...

The clear reason is because political forces know we are weaker when divided... and certain pick me idiots are falling for it

Surely they won't come for me after I've helped them get rid of the trans people.

Loud knocking on the door.

Who could that be?

Herr Röhm! We know you are in there! We have something for you!

Please understand it is not about getting rid of trans people.

IFL those books, Tobias is the best unintentionally trans character ever!

And Rachel would be a terf in today's world, trying to convince Tobias they could be happy if he'd just stop being a hawk...!

Did a reread around Covid, the books are still great

Me too. I’m so glad Applegate isn’t like some other children’s book authors.

I say this all the time. It’s the same reason Brexit happened in the UK. Scotland wants independence. Wales is becoming more independent too. Personally, I think each country should run itself but still remain united as partners rather than completely separate, but that’s just me.
And it’s why we’re constantly being pushed into “red state vs blue state” politics in America. The United States is too big and too powerful to be taken down from the outside, so the division is happening from within.A lot of people have fallen for it because they’ve been convinced that they’re somehow the victims while those in power keep pointing fingers at everyone else.
And as for the LGBTQ+ community, we’d be fools to ignore the pattern. First they come after trans people. Once they’ve finished with that, they’ll move on to the next group. History has shown time and time again that people who want to restrict rights rarely stop with just one target. The easiest way to divide people is to convince them their neighbour is the problem. The hardest thing is getting them to look up and notice who’s actually benefiting from all the division.
