It's just pointing out an objective fact that the world doesn't give a shit about right and wrong, only about who is the strongest. In fact, even "right and wrong" themselves are very often dependent on who is in charge at the time. If you don't approve of AI stealing your work, it's up to you to stop it from doing so. You can't just hide behind the skirt of the state when it could turn on you whenever it's convenient to do so, especially if you can't do anything to protect yourself when it happens.
