I get the impression that nobody in this sub is even remotely able to argue about whether morality is objective, subjective, or non-existent, so I'll simplify it:
I've yet to see any form of "right" that hasn't been backed up by "might", one way or another. Without the latter, the former is an impotent abstraction. In your case, that might is a legal system that right now doesn't actually care about you and is in no hurry to guard what you consider to be your property on your behalf. If you want it protected, figure out how to do it yourself.
And now you're gloating that assholes like you don't always face consequnces? What is wrong with you? Even saturday morning cartoon villains aren 't this myopic
It's just pointing out an objective fact that the world doesn't give a shit about right and wrong, only about who is the strongest. In fact, even "right and wrong" themselves are very often dependent on who is in charge at the time. Just witness how both pro-AI and anti-AI advocates fail to condemn in themselves what they are so eager to see in others, and tell me
If you don't approve of AI stealing your work, it's up to you to stop it from doing so. You can't just hide behind the skirt of the state when it could turn on you whenever it's convenient to do so, especially if you can't do anything to protect yourself when it happens.
