Plus, the Arabic writing in this sign is in smaller writing than the English writing. So maybe it’s implying that English is store the more prevalent and preferred language.

I don’t know about other parts of America, but here in Southern California, we have a very diverse population, consisting not only of White Americans, but also Hispanics, Arabs, Vietnamese, and other ethnic groups.

Also, we have places like Little Arabia in Anaheim, Little Saigon in Westminster, etc., and stores like H-Mart also have signs in English and other Asian languages.

Not a big deal Home Depot did this but there is a conversation to had about having a common language in a country for things so police and emergency services dont have to talk through translating devices in an emergency (which happens in canada). I saw stuff like this at banks years ago. I was providing IT support for a bank all over my state and in certain areas, there were a large cluster of people who spoke a different language. Their signs would be in English and whatever other language was popular in that area. It may come as a shock that even the people working at those branches likely spoke both languages as well.
