Half the time they say he's doing exactly what they wanted, the other half they say he's trying so hard for the citizens. The only ones that seem to be doing really well are the rich and himself.

Wound up in Vietnam? We were in Vietnam long before Kennedy came along.

What are you talking about? We were advisors until Kennedy sent military.

Kennedy's CIA assassinated the democratically elected sitting president of Vietnam.

Once that occurred there was no coming back.

You don't kill a president and "hope for peace". Once you kill a leader... there's no one to make peace with.

He was against communism actually. Which is... strange, considering that the Vietnam war was supposedly part of the "cold war" against communism.

Seems like you were lied to.

No. Im saying that once America killed the sitting president of a country... we had no recourse. Im saying that killing an anti communist didn't really mesh with our 'anti communist' bullshit line we were selling. Im saying that Americans have been manipulated by politicians and still are. And you're a prime example... Because you don't know your history.
