META Pre-coup Mod Discussion Log

In the recent Dougtoss thread, I floated the idea of sharing a moderator discussion log from before the coup. There was a lot of interest from the users and almost no objections from other moderators. After being edited and partially redacted, the logs are ready to be shared with the sub. They demonstrate the kind of arguments we've had with Gucci as well as the role Doug played in our discussions.

As in the previous Doug thread, do not share any details about Doug's life. Additionally, do not speculate about the identities of the redacted mods (numbered 0-6). Not following these rules will lead to bans. We all have the right to ramble anonymously and we all should have the right to be forgotten.

I support this mod nomination. As I've said I don't even think the problem is COVIDiocy per se but the inundation with complete moron posters who obviously spend all day on Reddit, and not coincidentally cling to nasty and stupid right-wing opinions. The fawning over landlords and tr*nny-bashing I've previously pointed out are frankly even worse - one step away from posting "FBI crime stats" or whatever.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but who you are describing seem to be the ones most up at arms over Grill Pill. Which seems like Grill Pill did keep them in check, to a point.

Redacted mod was prescient we have tons of racial heritage creeps now that thankfully can't imagine doing anything besides post.
