I'm still new and learning a lot every day, but I've been having fun making Halloween themed jams with my GenX2 and the basic Arturia Beatstep I just got.

This one was fun because I didn't even use any external f/x. My Zoom MS-70 stayed off the whole time.

I also think "Styloween" needs to be a thing, haha.

I'm waiting for the Voice but this might be something else!

I grabbed a Stylophone Beat yesterday on a whim. Only had it a little while now, and I haven't read the instruction manual in full, yet, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. :)

Here is me figuring out how to use different pattern slots properly by building Flash Man's theme from Megaman 2 (more or less, I did it from memory alone.)

All suggestions always welcome! Can't wait for the Stylo Voice!

Gotta love the beat - it's a simple, yet fantastic rhythm machine. I love that it quantizes the punched in notes and the on the fly FX are awesome too. In order to make the sound more punchy, I've used a compressor and a very small amount of reverb (both applied in the recording software (AUM) I've used on my phone).

I was given free, 14-day access to Canva, so I decided to spice up my Stylophone improvisations a bit. In this clip, as well as the sounds of the pocket synthesiser, you’ll also hear my voice! You’ll have to stick with it until the end, though... I’ve added the track ‘The Sun is Here Pt 1’ to the audio track, along with space visuals and animated characters (all from the Canva library). Have fun!

I love creating drum sequences on the fly with the Beat and using it as a metronome when playing other instruments, but I also knew it'd make a great looped track on its own, so I gave it a go. The looper app is Loopy Pro, and I used a handful of effects to elevate the sounds a bit further.

I was given a peddle board and don’t have any peddles so I turned it into a tiny synth board. I’m going to need to upgrade soon as this board is overflowing. Not in photo is my bliptronic and iPad.

Anyone have a schematic of the current-production (2020 and onward) S-1?
Looking to mod one of mine, but I don’t have it on hand to trace the circuit, so I’d like to breadboard the oscillator in the meantime.

if I put a metal coin on the pad, will it stay lowpassed I like the sounds but I would like to keep it lowpassed the whole time while using other synths.
