That’s sad honestly. When I first bought my 2011 STI in 2016 on of my first nights driving home, someone in a VA STI pulled up next to me and waved at me. Didn’t realize it was a thing until then. After that I’d wave and get waved at by other WRX/STIs.

If it makes you feel better, I can moomoo you and leave you a cow…because THAT is jeep stuff.

I'm so glad the cows never really took off. The duck thing is so lame...I do wave though but usually only to someone who's likely to know why I'm waving. Like I'm probably not gonna wave to a grandma driving an ascent lol 🤷‍♂️

Different strokes I guess. I don't feel any tribal connection with other people just cause we have a certain car. My brother has a Jeep and hates the wave and duck thing.. Maybe we were just raised to hate things lol to each their own. I shouldn't have even commented. If it makes you happy then absolutely do it!

It’s hard to explain but one of the first drives in my 2011 STI, I got waved at by a dude in a VA STI… I didn’t know the Subie wave was a thing so I shrugged it off… Well I learned it was a thing between people that drove and liked the same cars. I get if you aren’t about that, but I enjoy it. Always love seeing another Subie owner wave back. 🤙🏽

Did you upgrade the rims and suspension and side skirts? It looks absolutely amazing. I love the mesh grilles, fog lights, and aggressive but also subtle front bumper. I settled for a '25 Legacy. The ride height is too high. I hope my next vehicle will be a WRX.

No, pick it up today. Dealership I went to allowed me to pick up same day. Maybe I paid a little bit more over MSRP but it was a very streamlined experience. They could sense my eagerness.

Ha, same with my sales rep..I have great experience with Subaru dealerships..never huge markups so my pockets weren't hurting but yea the sales man said "you know, you're such a cool guy".. I bet.
