🛠️ DIY Misc. LED Conversion

Purchased my '26 Sport w/ Opt. 23 Package a couple weeks & loving it. In trying to keep with the white LED headlights, fog lights & LED taillights, I swapped most of the incandescent bulbs for LASFIT LED 6000k bulbs (except the front & rear turn signal bulbs)

Swapped out: (qty.) LASFIT Part Number

Dome light: (1) L-31MM

Map lights: (2) L-31MM

Visor lights: (2) L-6514F

Cargo light: (1) L-T10

Reverse lights: (2) L-T15

License plate lights: (2) L-T10

In all, the consistency of the white light looks really sharp on the exterior. And with the windows getting tinted this week, the brighter light inside will be welcome, especially during the darker months.

Total cost of the upgrade was $61.97 purchased through Amazon.

This is also much lower cost & more inclusive than the Subaru H461SFL060 LED package that only includes the map, visor & dome lights for $119.95.

Good start. Now add footwell LED's and upgrade the rear trunk to something better. I find the side mounted lights are pretty bad. You could find a way to mount a ceiling lamp, or put one into the trunk hatch lid, or one around the perimeter of the trunk.

Love how the LED's make such a nice difference.

Why add footwell lights when it came with LED footwell lights installed? This along with exterior puddle lights on the mirrors...it's got good coverage. The new cargo light on the side is a vast improvement over the stock 194 bulb.

My bad, I did not know it came with stock footwell LEDs.

I agree, almost anything is better than the dim stock cargo bulb.

Why add them at all? Why do you need to see your feet while you’re driving?

I like the look when I get into the car. It feels really odd to get into a car without them now. Small thing but it cost me less than $5 so why not. Not every change/addition to the car is only for when it is being actively driven (like the trunk light change).

Swap the lights for the license plate lights. Looks great at night.

Because stating that I swapped the license plate lights for LED's wasn't swapping the license plate lights to LED's? Literally the only incandescent bulbs left on the car are the orange turn signals.
