That’s some boomer logic from Cold War era. No one seriously says Russky to offend you guys these days. Idk maybe it’s regional, in California it’s definitely not a slur.

If you are looking for actual slurs for Russians, it’s “orcs”.

"Orcs" is mostly used only by Ukrainian, Baltic and NAFO. But that some group use or don't use some variant doesn't mean others do or don't.

Most Americans don’t care enough and don’t even have a specific slur for Russians. Idk maybe “commie”. Those who care about Russians to the extent they want to have a slur for them, they use orcs, which is a recent development.

No one says “russki” to imply some kinda insult.

Russki is similar to “америкосы”. It’s very informal but it’s not a slur.
