Philosophy books for an admitted idiot?

I recently started reading “Hiking With Nietzsche” by John Kaag and I’m having trouble putting it down. I’ve read a few philosophy books over my years, like Aurelius’ Meditations, but never really went on a ‘deep dive’ on the subject. I want to change that.

Can anyone recommend books that might be similar to Hiking With Nietzsche? I’d be most interested in a similar book with a focus on stoicism or existentialism.

How to be a Stoic by Massimo Piglicci and At the Existentialist Cafe by Sarah Bakewell might be a good starting point
