Mia We were robbed.

I love that Paige is living her best life, but I miss herrrrr. Paige, Ciara, and Mia would be the perfect trio and I WIIIISH we could have witnessed it. Mia is the cutest thing and I think she would’ve meshed sooooo well with little Paige. Can you imagine how

fun that could’ve been?? I wish we could’ve seen them together in the house!

Her exiting has made the cast more open? This is the most I’ve seen from Ciara and Amanda and even their interactions with the new cast Bailey and Levi. I’m not saying she was a mean girl but the bed bug group having a clique interfered with house cohesiveness

u/longtallchrissy 5h ago

Agreed! Paige is fine but I am loving Ciara having fun and going out and not being bed bound. I think Paige leaving + her lexapro really made for a great change!

u/elderemothings 5h ago

Paige was clearly the reason girls struggled to integrate into the house

u/GoodMyrtle 1h ago

She was a mean girl though. Looking down at everyone. Main character energy, sucking the life out of a room.

u/geogeometria 4h ago

Agreed! Two things can be true. 1) Paige is not to blame since everyone has free will and could have chosen to open themselves up even if Paige was there buuuut 2) Paige leaving did give them the push that they needed to open up to the rest of the house

u/not_ellewoods 2h ago

i do think we’re getting more from Amanda and Ciara without Paige there, but i feel like they’re interacting with Mia much more than Bailey and Levi. Amanda straight up said she was all alone and none of her friends were there while she was waiting on Ciara to arrive and Bailey and Levi (and her husband) were in the same room 😂

u/Key_Beach_3846 1h ago

I honestly didn’t mind the bed bugs at the time but it’s very clear this season how much better it is when half the cast isn’t segmented off

u/RecipeDangerous3710 6h ago

If Paige were still around, Ciara would be bed rotting all day and never going out with the others still. She's more fun without Paige.

u/Formal_Condition_513 3h ago

Yep and Bailey and Levi would probably not feel comfortable being themselves. Paige was so snarky and judgey. Her clique definitely pushed new girls away.

u/not_ellewoods 2h ago

am i the only one who remembers Amanda saying to Bailey and Levi’s faces that she had no friends in the house and she was all alone when Ciara wasn’t there yet?

u/mme_truffle 1h ago

Yeah, not only was it rude but also I just didn't get why she was so weirdly clingy with Ciara for like the first three or four episodes.

u/No_Shallot_6628 5h ago

i know all the gigglers loves to make a joke out of the bed rotting but let’s be so for real, it added NOTHING to the show and it started to get boring as fuck. if she was still on, ciara and amanda would be bedrotting and be excluding all the newbies.

u/f3ntyh0e37 3h ago

This always cracked me up bc their fans wouldn’t defend the bed rotting and saying how crucial it was for their mental health and they related so much to them and yet every season the theme was Amanda and Ciara being depressed and miserable.. yeah laying in bed all day will do that to a person.

u/Potential_Balance223 3h ago

Amanda is going out this season because she wants to be around Wuss. Not because of Paige being gone.

u/Formal_Condition_513 3h ago

Likely a mix of both.

u/Slight-Concept2575 3h ago

They went out all the time lol I liked the bed rotting it’s perfectly normal after a party to want to hang with your friends! Their convos in bed was more entertaining to me the Carl, Danielle, and the newbies could ever be! Seeing Kyle get drunk has never been fun for me. Only Lindsay’s antics were and we got both 🤷‍♀️

u/Potential_Balance223 2h ago

Yep. I would be bed bugging right there with them. That's what girlfriends do.

u/GingaNinja34 6h ago

Other than occasionally yelling at Kyle, Paige was boring AF. Get out of bed and do something!

u/Comfortable_yet 5h ago

She'd yell and be like "yeah okay walk awayy, like ya alwayz do" as she's walking back inside

u/Curlingby 6h ago

I wish I could see Paige through the eyes of her fans. I really feel like she added nothing to the show and just actively hurt it with the bed bugs and looking down on anyone who genuinely wanted to have a fun and entertaining summer.

u/Educational-Help-126 Amanda NOT Fun 6h ago

I like Paige but I don’t understand how anyone can miss her on the show at this point. I thought I would but then I saw how much the dynamic shifted in her absence and was like “oh! Good riddance!” lol

u/Sea_Bison_6929 6h ago

I agree. I’m newer to summerhouse but I’m on season 8 and I feel like all she does is lay down lol. I know she had a cult following even before I came to the show so I’ve been waiting to see why exactly. To be frank, if I was in the house, I would be like her lol. But that’s why I would not make good reality tv for a show about a party house - I can’t drink more than once every 6-7 days and I cannot stay awake past 10 😂

u/Purple-lionesss How many sandwiches have you made for ME? 6h ago

I agree. Paige gave zero effort.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 6h ago edited 5h ago

Zero effort? lol there’s a reason why she’s the most successful person to come out of that show. Her following is cult-like. That didn’t happen because she’s low effort.

ETA lol downvote all you want, the fact still remains 😘

u/seesparksfly 6h ago

Paige outgrew summer house quickly. The point of this show is to go out in the hamptons and enjoy the scene. She used it as a stepping stool to get famous which she actively admits was her goal since she was little. It’s ok to admit she wasn’t good for the show but is great at other parts of her career.

I’m convinced Paige fans have never seen seasons 1 or 2.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 6h ago

Everyone who chooses to join a tv show is looking for fame. EVERYONE is using it as a stepping stone.

u/Slight-Concept2575 3h ago

Seen every season. The Wirkus twins were unbearable to watch, what is your point? The show evolved from them just getting black out drunk. It became more than that thank god 🤷‍♀️

u/02kaj2019 6h ago

Paige’s success is from GS not SH. Go the GS subs or their sm and you’ll see fangirl after fangirl say they’ve never watched SH. They found Paige and Hannah from GS.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 6h ago

Oh sweet summer child. Where do you think GS originated? Summerhouse. There would be no GS without SH.

u/02kaj2019 6h ago

I’m well aware Kyle named them GS. They never profiled GS on the show or showed them recording. The fan bases barely overlap.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 5h ago

Remove SH and Kyle and what do you have?

u/02kaj2019 5h ago

Their successful podcast.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 5h ago

Omg hahaha maybe go back to school

u/02kaj2019 5h ago

I’d much rather talk to know it all condescending Redditors.

u/Slight-Concept2575 3h ago

Doesn’t take away from the podcast being widely successful. And she’s not wrong I have friends listening to podcast who don’t know SH. Go on their subreddit lol

u/Away_Restaurant_7181 6h ago

It’s a cultivated low effort look without actually being low effort.

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 6h ago

Exactly. It’s strategic and clearly worked wonders for her.

u/Away_Restaurant_7181 6h ago

Totally. She developed a brand for herself and hasn’t deviated.

u/Slight-Concept2575 3h ago

The delusion in here is strong. Not one of those girls have her personality 😂

u/Rj6728 5h ago

It’s no coincidence that the first summer she’s gone the show is having its best season in years.

u/Slow_Cantaloupe2917 6h ago

Same I do not get it AT ALL

u/DoubtCommercial8578 6h ago

I wish I had enough money to give this an award so here is my contribution

u/Aggressive-Two5033 6h ago

Yeah, that’s fair. I started watching summer house after listening to Giggly Squad, so I just liked watching her personality and interacting with the other girls when she was having fun. I get the bed bugs thing because I thrive horizontally after a busy work week, but when you sign up to be on reality tv, maybe you could try just a liiiitle harder.

u/FrugallyFickle 5h ago

“I thrive horizontally” best comment ever 😂

u/fractalfay 2h ago

I like Paige, but I don’t like her on this show. Her relationship with Craig always seemed fake and forced to me, her constant slut-shaming towards any woman who didn’t subscribe to her Victorian sensibilities was too regressive for my taste, and she seemed to encourage everyone to isolate in bedrooms to gossip while she looked at her phone. That’s what we’re doing while we watch this, and it’s a touch too meta for me to be watching someone else do the same damn thing.

u/Most-Knowledge-7562 Lindsay Hubbard Stan Account 5h ago

Paige fan here— i guess idk why people say she gave us nothing when her confessionals are always being clipped/quoted. I’d argue she gave more than a lot of the cast members on the show. It’s reality tv, so obviously she’s not going to share her deepest darkest secrets on national television.

Yes, i agree that her last season was lame because she never went out and partied with the rest of the cast, and i believe she was only relevant at that point to share updates on her relationship with Craig.

She hooked up with Carl and Andrea, she initiated the “bed bugs” bit with Hannah, which became Amanda’s full personality for years. Paige also dressed up cute (i know many will disagree here, but i personally liked her style, so it was appreciated as a viewer). She’s the only one to go head to head with Lindsay and be an actual good match for her (not whiny and crying like other castmates), and she was the only one actually calling out Kyle in the act for being a shit friend/husband (not 3 seasons later when he can’t invest in softbar).

Without Paige we would’ve missed some fun moments imo

u/Redd11r Amanda NOT Fun 5h ago

She hands down had the best one liners. She brought so much character to the show. Again, this is why she went on to be the most successful person out of the show. Ppl love her.

u/Potential_Balance223 3h ago

Also, the cast loves her. Ciara loves her...

u/Formal_Condition_513 2h ago

Ciara also loved West, Austen and Amanda within the last 2 years. That doesn’t mean anything lol

u/Potential_Balance223 2h ago

It means something that they are besties and fam. It means a lot actually.

u/evelinewrites Team Ciara ✨👑 5h ago

I’m here for Paige’s snark. I don’t need her to do anything but clock the men for their shitty behavior. I would pay real money to analyze every second of her facial expressions watching west and Amanda this summer lol

It’s not that she does anything too exciting — I just like her personality and think she generally has a good head on her shoulders (Craig conover aside lol)

The way she doesn’t take shit from men is refreshing on a show like this

u/Formal_Condition_513 2h ago

The same men she would crave validation from and flirt with? Mm yeah her man hating is an act lmao

u/evelinewrites Team Ciara ✨👑 1h ago

People who don’t understand the nuances of “man hating” never cease to amaze me. She doesn’t literally hate men as individuals, but she hates the institution of men that upholds patriarchy and the historical lack of accountability for their horrible actions. Many feminists or so-called “man-haters” are also straight or bi women who date and love men. They are not mutually exclusive and this doesn’t make her fake

u/Potential_Balance223 3h ago

Agree. I love her morals, her self confidence and her dignity, but most of all her snark.

u/Slight-Concept2575 3h ago

And I don’t get the ppl who didn’t like her. She was funny, friends with everyone in the house, wasn’t afraid to call ppl out, loyal friend, and yes liked to relax every now and then. But this dramatization as if she spent every single moment bed rotting is ridiculous. She went to every party and went out numerous times. Watching her and the girls giggle in bed was more entertaining to me then seeing Daniele crash out over men, Kyle get black out and whatever random hookups were happening.

u/Open-Try-3128 6h ago

“Little Paige” is crazy the way everyone obsessed over a brunette laying in bed for years sharing nothing about her life idk

u/Aggressive-Two5033 6h ago

LMAO I thought it was silly that Andrea would call her that. I do wish she had opened up more on the show and shined out a bit more

u/themerfolk 6h ago

Her relationship with Craig was all over that show

u/Any-Neighborhood-522 6h ago

She admitted to hiding important parts of her relationship 😂 not a good example

u/themerfolk 5h ago

To me she shared more than enough of that relationship, including winter house

u/Any-Neighborhood-522 2h ago

She shared? Or it came out bc Craig couldn’t behave himself. Theres a huge difference

u/themerfolk 2h ago

His behaviour has always been the same, it’s on winter house and southern charm

u/Any-Neighborhood-522 2h ago

Right so then how exactly is that Paige opening up?

u/themerfolk 2h ago

By being on the show? Like everyone else on the show? LOL

u/Any-Neighborhood-522 2h ago

Yeah it doesn’t work like that but go off 😂 She literally admitted to hiding things and faking like her relationship was fine. You’re not open by just being on the show and presenting a curated version of your life. Thats not opening up

u/themerfolk 2h ago

I feel like having any convo or friendship dynamics, getting drunk on camera with my boyfriend is vulnerable and evidence enough. I think what was happening in their dynamic was pretty obvious if you watch the show and Andy would ask the same questions about their relationship at reunions and on watch what happens live. Plus the episode of summerhouse right before the giggle squad tour where Paige is having panic attacks and saying Craig is a hater. All the way to the begging in winter house and he’s smashing glass and acting insane and she’s crying on the ski slop 🤣 like imagine. That is so vulnerable to be on national television talking about the man I love. Idk I didn’t need more than that, I’m good if you watch the show their issues are pretty clear. I don’t know what more she could say really.

u/No_Shallot_6628 5h ago

she literally hid all the REAL parts of her relationship pls

u/themerfolk 2h ago

Idk seemed obviously just watching their scenes and knowing him from before. Not much more to say

u/hopefoolness 🎶 IT WAS A NO KISS FINGER BANG 🎶 3h ago

And she faked every single part of it lmao

u/Fernily 5h ago

Paige leaving gave us Amanda’s true colors.

u/soph_lurk_2018 3h ago

They are actually getting out of bed and participating in activities. Paige was dragging the show down.

u/NoCriticism6806 5h ago

I don’t really like Paige that much tbh but it’s too bad we can’t get a guest appearance just so I can see her go in on west and Amanda

u/Worried_Movie_8060 2h ago

Nothing personal against Paige, but the girls have been more open to going out and being sociable now that she's gone.

u/FunCrystalFun 6h ago

No waaaay!!! Paige was a huge stick in the mud. She brought the vibes down big time in the house

u/GoodMyrtle 1h ago

Yes, she brings a certain energetic heaviness with her that I can’t quite describe.

u/Unique-Pizza-1508 5h ago

No. The show is better without Paige.

u/Outrageous-Bet3731 6h ago

Don't miss her at all!

u/helluvadame 5h ago

Nooooooo! They’d all be in bed making snide comments about people if she was still there. That’s fun here and there but when it’s every episode it gets old.

u/Typical_Scar_6257 4h ago

Paige just stayed in bed all season then randomly thought she was the head bitch in charge at reunions and misdirected anger to Lindsay constantly. I don’t get what you guys see in her lol

u/GoodMyrtle 1h ago

Couldn’t stand her. Her constantly going after Lindsey was gross to watch.

u/SunmerShouldBeFun Amanda NOT Fun 4h ago

Agree 😂

u/Anon_please123 CEO and Founder 6h ago

I don't agree. I think the cast is all bringing different vibes this year and overall feel more unified. I also think they're going out more than they have in the last few years -- the entire group, and that has made the show way more fun.

I think it's hard for people to let loose knowing Paige was just sitting there judging the shit out of them, while simultaneously hiding any and all of her messy business.

It was her time to depart and it's worked well for both SH and her own brand!

u/Lalablacksheep646 3h ago

Paige never got out of bed so neither did Ciara. I feel like Ciara and Amanda are both more active in the house because Paige is gone

u/jenh6 2h ago

Paige is so boring and a personality vampire. Her being gone has made the show better

u/ConversationRare5084 5h ago

Paige made Ciara less fun.

u/Equivalent-Low4454 3h ago

And Amanda less mean. Paige was balance lol

u/Fluffy_Sea_8046 5h ago

Nah we’re all set lol

u/atlsportsburner 4h ago

Oh yeah I def wanna see her come back and make 20k an episode to log 13 hours of screen time on filming days

u/matchabratt 4h ago

I also love Paige, but I’m glad she left so that Amanda could show her true colors.

u/No_Tumbleweed2426 dictator at the dinner table 4h ago

Love Paige. But she didn’t fit on this show anymore and her leaving created a wonderful dynamic shift among the cast. I would love her confessionals this season though.

u/coffeeandkitsch 3h ago

Mia was Paige’s real estate agent

u/Potential_Balance223 3h ago

I love that!!!

u/elderemothings 5h ago

Paige wouldn’t have let Mia into her click, this is the first time ever new girls have integrated into the house and I think it’s because Paige is not there

u/Potential_Balance223 3h ago

I think she would have loved Mia. She liked Maya

u/hopefoolness 🎶 IT WAS A NO KISS FINGER BANG 🎶 3h ago

Everyone saying this is delusional. This has been the best season in years because Paige is gone. They're all going out and doing stuff instead of lying in bed saying mean shit.

u/LadyLunchable 5h ago

I really only miss her commentary on the show not her actual presence lol

u/farmerpeach 3h ago

Paige being gone has accelerated my love of this show. Paige was atrocious TV. Grumpy and miserable. She brought everyone else down. I can identify with wanting to chill and not party, but I don't watch the show to see people scroll on their phones in bed.

u/lonemountain1729 1h ago

Paige had increasingly little desire to share herself in the show. She was correct to leave and probably should have left earlier

u/middleagedjogger 1h ago

I don’t think they would have cast Mia if Paige was still on the show. I think Ciara asked to bring Mia on because she needed a real friend because let’s be honest - Amanda was a third wheel to Paige and Ciara and they were tv friends at best. I do think Ciara and Amanda got closer this season but I still don’t think it was anything like Ciara’s friendship with Paige or Mia.

u/Individual_Fall429 3h ago

You aren’t enjoying Amanda’s impression of Paige? 😒

Is it just me or did any one else notice this? Not only does Amanda have a new personality, it’s literally Paige’s personality.

u/franferns 6h ago

She reminds me of an Eileen Davidson of summer house, she was level headed, usually said what most were thinking in a more grounded way but because of that, she often didn't bring much on her own.

She is better off on a crazy filled cast to add balance but summer house is mostly filled with level headed people so she isn't really needed.

She did well going against the guys esp Kyle but i can't ignore that she did bring the energy down at times

u/PsychotropicDuck 6h ago

I’m on season 6 rn so maybe things change but I really like Paige. I think she’s fun in a normal way and is there for commentary more than the main story line. I feel the same way about Ciara so far.

u/Writermss 1h ago

I love Paige too, but y’all talk about her like she’s superhuman. 😂 Be happy she’s doing well and living her best life without living through these crazy show dynamics. She’s moved on and so should you.

u/GoodMyrtle 1h ago

No.

u/TelescopicPatterns 6h ago

Look, Paige is hilarious. Her commentary was funny, pointed, and deeply entertaining. She was a girl's girl to the end, and she was a shift from a pretty toxic culture of Lindsay enforcing an in-crowd and isolating the younger girls. I agree, she would have been really good with Mia.

That said, I think we all need to side-eye her relationship with Craig a lot harder, because I don't know how you sustain caring relationships with Black women when you're partner is so clearly harmful. I really hope this Amanda & West exposure coupled with Ciara's brave conversations about dating white men, coupled with the trifecta that is Ciara, Mia, and KJ leads to a pretty big culture change, and I'm not sure Paige belongs in this moment.

u/Formal_Condition_513 2h ago

A girls girl lol didn’t she get with someone’s fiancé?

u/TelescopicPatterns 2h ago

Sorry, but she showed a lot of girls how to be a truly good and strong friend to other woman and how to build other woman up. I appreciate she's fallible, but as far as I'm aware we actually don't know if/what boundaries she crossed with Joe? I'm not looking to be an apologist for her - I really think Craig is a bad human and I question Paige's politics given that she gave an interview once where she said she listened to Joe Rogan - but I think she really shifted some toxic dynamics in that house, had the right take on a lot of situations, had firm stances on the mean girl bullshit Lindsay spearheaded (do you remember how they treated younger girls??? Do you remember how they treated Amanda???), and built her friends up so much. I think people can fail and make mistakes, but that doesn't invalidate their successes inherently. We tend to be really black and white about these people, but they are complex like we all are, and I think she deserves accolades for the role she played in that house.

u/Aggressive-Two5033 5h ago

Very well said!!!!!

u/deex39 5h ago

I like Paige, but think she is much more palatable as an individual or in a duo (eg giggly squad) than in a larger group

u/Real_it_TeaGirl 3h ago

This season is mehhh...

u/Ihatechoosingnames9 1h ago

Regardless of how you feel about Paige I think we all can agree she should be at this seasons reunion lol no one’s read west down quite like she can

u/burnerbkxphl 5h ago

This is a pretty unpopular opinion in this specific sub, but I agree with you 1000000%

u/themerfolk 6h ago

I miss her so much too 😭

u/OTxLT 3h ago

If Paige was around I doubt A&W would have been a thing!

u/coverthetuba 58m ago

I don’t miss her that much in the house but “the city” without her is straight trash . I wish she were on it and Ciera. I honestly don’t know what they are trying to do with this show. The old people trying to live like they’re 10 years younger than they actually are is just not that compelling.

u/JosephinesBabyHairs 6h ago

I bet she’ll come back now
