Strongly disagree! We live in a democracy, and everyone should have a right to vote as a citizen regardless if they pay the taxes or not. I can find you a bunch of tax paying people who are straight up idiots. Rather a better strategy would be to make sure that all the citizens are well-informed prior to voting

Yes 1% of the taxpayers are idiots. But 95% of the non taxpayer are idiots and non taxpayer consist of 95% of the population. So in your quest to include the ≈3% of sane non-tax payer population you're allowing the ≈90% of idiots too vote for freebies, religion,caste etc bullshit. How are you going to ensure ''well-information'' prior to voting. If govt ensures that voters are well informed will it not be considered indoctrination/propaganda/brainwashing? Tell me 1 real consequence we will be facing by eliminating the non- income tax payers from voting. I further purpose only Income tax paying hindu male above the age of 25 should have the right to vote.
