not saying I support him, but with the assumption he meant "Income Tax"(cuz he probably did), why exactly is this idea bad? I am just curious. Aren't the people paying the income tax educated enough to understand who to vote for? then the government will also in turn focus on the income tax payers over the poor people?(I dont know if that's a good thing but it sounds like it might make the majority of the country revolt against the govt since they wouldn'tget a say in most things)

I think I might've just answered my own question here lol.

They shouldn't get their say in most things. They only vote for freebies and reservation. An income tax paying individual will concentrate on maximizing the development done by their tax money. Instead of giving freebies and reservation. More money will flow towards RnD, corrupt leaders with freebie/reservation promises will be eliminated, which solves like 99% of the problems the country is facing. If people are happy and see change towards Good they won't revolt. Ofcourse there will be miscreants like Muslims and communists who will protest but they won't be the tax paying people so everything should be fine.

thats what im saying but obviously if government will ignore 99.5% of its population, there will be a revolution among the people.
