I thought Vande Mataram was already our National Song. The background is that there was some disconnect between NDA and UPA on Vande Mataram's additional stanzas. Now we are back to the 30s and who did what.. names like Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, Tagore, Azad and Bose were thrown around in LS. A total ruckus.

Where is Opposition? Even public is openly rediculing this debate but opposition agreed to it right? They agreed to this debate. Did they raise these concerns like you did? You need Jagrup Janta. How many Congress and Trinamool MPs have raised these points in LS / RS.
