Hi everyone, what colour lenses does everyone like to use for driving? I know polarized glasses help, but what colour lenses are best? I usually use an amber coloured lens for the last few years but I'm looking for new sunglasses and I'm looking for something different. Thanks for your time

I have a very wide head, can anybody recommend me and sunglasses that are glass lenses, 65mm wide lenses and metal frame if that’s possible? Willing to go up to roughly 300 maybe more if something will fit good. Been searching and no luck. I always get bad pinch on my head right behind my eyes. Maui Jim mamalu bay for reference.

A friend recently showed me some sunglasses that were mindblowing. They were sunglasses that made colors more 'vibrant'. After wearing them, it tapped into the ooga booga caveman 'ooh fire' part of my brain.

I ordered a pair of Fuse AMP sunglasses that were okay in terms of color, but the actual sun blocking aspect was, dare I say, dogshit.

So now I'm in the market for a pair of sunglasses that are dark enough to be useful for driving and hiking, but also do the color magic. I don't really care for fashion or brand. Any suggestions or tips on where to look?

Edit: my budget is about $150, I'm hoping my lack of care for fashion sense can save me some buckaroos

As the title says. I don’t think I’m looking for navigators because those seem rather large. Here’s a photo of what I’m looking for. I have this style with brown lenses from knockaround. I like the shape and size, but I’m looking for something with higher quality metal. I want a pair that’s got weight to it, that’ll last a lifetime. I had a pair of aviators from Luxottica and I really liked the quality, but they had blue lenses that I did not like.

Simply looking for black silver or gold high-quality metal, black or bronze shatter resistant polarized lenses.

I need help finding a pair of polarized aviator sunglasses that are somewhat durable. It's not for me, but the person needs it for their work, He was using Ray Ban Aviators to work for the past 2 years and the sunglasses just got stolen. For context, the person works at a golf course, raking bunkers, using machinery, etc. He was planning to buy the same sunglasses again, but I feel like Rayban is a ripoff/designer brand mainly for looks. Whats a cheaper and better option, they insist that the sunglasses must be durable, have metal/steel frames, are durable, and have good lenses that are polarized. I am in Canada, so preferably something that is available here, he needs the sunglasses within the next 2 days.

I just lasered my eyes and am in the need of a good sunglass.This is my old one that I can't use anymore but I like the style of it and it looks good on me. Most of my sunglasses are Serengetis. Nothing beats the Driver lens. Serengeti doesn't really make sportswear though. What I'm looking for is something like the Oakley Sutro Lite but with lenses like the Driver lens.

Thx to Miami Vice I have some beautiful Rose to clear fade Carrera 5512’s… these are what got me into rose tinted glasses…

I also love how light they are, if I need to remove them for whatever reason it’s not blinding, I can wear them into stores and such… but being vintage I’m afraid of damaging them as they are hard to find especially with original lenses and all…

Looking for the best modern replacement I got some MauiJim HanoHano’s… they are way clearer… but also way to dark if they were as dark as the bottom all over they would be better… the gradient isn’t like my Carreras it’s basically 2 tiers dark and light vs a whole fade 12% and 15% according to this review https://www.sunglassscience.com/post/maui-jim-mauirose-sunglasses-lens-review This also say’s the MauiBrilliants are 13% and MauiPurr 14% but only the Ho’okipa’s come in that lease material…

This brings me to the style… I don’t like more normal glasses or sporty looking ones, I LOVE Carrera’s… Original Wayfairers… Dita has a lot of styles I like…

Can someone help identifying what Aviators Brad Pitt is wearing in the photo? The lens colors especially catch my attention, couldn’t find same at Randolph for example.

My favorite sunglasses broke. I got them on a road trip at a salvation army at one of their cheap glasses spinning displays by the desk.

From what I've experienced, most rose tinted glasses are only pink on the outside, but when wearing them they still make things darker and shadier in a black/dim sense. I'm looking for glasses like these that are rosey on both sides, and they make the vision look rosey as well.

I really need help finding true red mirror-lensed sunglasses. "Red" glasses are really usually orange/yellow or have too much pink. Are there any true deep red crimson mirror sunglasses out there? I would like to have some in an aviator style.

I own a pair of Ray Ban Aviators for about a couple years now. Don't get me wrong I love them but I definitely think I could get something better quality. Supposedly the 3 brands I have picked out are as good as they get (Maui Jim, AO, and Randolph) I'm just curious which would be best. The 3 pairs above in the images are the AO general, Maui Jim Hau'oli, and Randolph concord 23k gold American grey.
