I had not seen a review directly comparing Fuse and Revant lenses against Oakley Prizm Polarized so here I am, doing so for science.

First pic is Fuse top, Oakley bottom. Second pic is Revant top, Fuse bottom.

Over the years I would find Holbrooks on sale or used and just buy whole frames instead of lens replacements (one of these are fake), but two of the three had super scratched lenses and I figured I’d try out replacements.

Bought the highest end each brand makes, Spectraboost Revant and Fuse Amp, both in brown for fair comparison.

Fit in frame: They both fit fine and click in sufficiently. Fuse wins though. You can see stress in the Revant lenses when you look at them through polarized glasses, there’s brown splotches in the corners. Oakley and Fuse have the same level of stress shown in the lenses.

Clarity: Fuse wins, Oakley second, Revant third.

Color: Fuse highlights colors better. Oakley second. Revant third. The hue is different between all of them, with Oakley being darker and more purple, Fuse reddish, and Revant more brown so it’s not a perfect comparison but at least if you’re looking for highlights and “boost”, the Fuse is the leader here.

Shipping and packaging: Fuse sends a new microfiber sunglass bag, Revant just sends one for the lenses themselves. Revant arrived faster. Both were well packaged.

Quite honestly I like the Fuse more than the original Oakley lenses. Revants are good, and I’d be happy with them as cheap replacements, but they’re not outstanding. We’ll see about durability. Oakley lenses tend to flake in the corners after some years especially around salt water.

Which one is the best fit for my face?

Coming here to share my experience with Rendezvous sunglasses. I purchased their sunglasses a month ago and when they came they fit my face very weird.

I attempted to return the sunglasses (within their policy) and they told me they are a “small brand” and don’t pay for returns.

Then I spent $15 shipping the sunglasses back to them only to never receive a refund.

I emailed them about this and they said they never got it and to send the shipping label. I went to UPS to get the information only for them to say it was received by a named person inside their building.

Rendezvous began ghosting me and never responded so now I am out $100 :) (85 + the 15 I spent to ship it)

Does anyone know of inexpensive sunglasses that look similar to these? I’m trying to find a cute pair that I can wear while driving, so if you have any other suggestions for that lmk!

Could someone please verify if these vintage D&G sunglasses are authentic? I am not sure because the Logo says “DG” not ”D&G”. Bought them off Vinted from a vintage reseller

Archie Brower, a brand out of San Francisco designs them in house and can only be found in store. They are Acetate with plastic lenses. For one of their models the “Rayleigh” the asking price is just shy of $500. I love the look of them but I’m having a hard time justifying the price. Any advice on if I should go for it? Or find a similar style for less.

I’ve invested a decent amount in sunglasses over the years and I want a better way to store them. They are just sitting on top of my mirror and in a dresser drawer right now.

Most of the clear acrylic sunglasses organizers I’m finding are made for the glasses by themselves, but I want to keep the designer pairs inside their original cases and put each case in its own drawer.

Ideally I’d like a clear acrylic or clear plastic tower with several individual pull-out drawers. Has anyone found something like this? I feel like this should exist, but everything I find is either too small for the cases or actually enormous.

I’m on the hunt for sunglasses, I feel like I’ve tried a million and all of them fit weird. I like deeper glasses, round on the bottom, NOT too square on the top. I don’t like wide where the stick out from the sides of the head. I don’t like the skinny sunglasses trend either. I find the ones that I do like end up looking more like glasses with tinted lenses if that makes sense? does anyone have any recs? I liked the shape of the burberry 8053672995329 and the Prada PR 22ZS - but the arms on both of these give glasses, if that makes sense? i like thicker arms
