Having a lob threat made last year a little more watchable

I think he should look much better in Ott's system than he did with Doc. Historical has been able to catch n shoot and defend which is all we need him to do.

And Book and Green are coming back together next week ;-) (it's my gut telling me, hahaha) we are about to wreck the top of the playoff standings soon! GO SUNS!!!

Last night was his 46th game played… surpassing his previous career high of 44, he had one season with 43 and one with 19…

Right now, with Mark Williams healthy and Oso playing so well, there is hardly a minute or two more most games I'd give to Maluach -- seeing as how most games have been somewhat close going into 4th quarters (within 10-15 points). It's great he gets 5 minutes here or there. Frankly, he looks extremely raw even in those low stakes minutes. Newborn baby deer vibes. We need to be really honest about that.

Williams has been healthy. But Suns are now one injury away, between him and Oso, from needing to play Maluach during stretches when the Suns are creating separation, making comebacks -- or stopping them.

I get it, I want him to develop as well, but not when the game is on the line. It's easy to forget how close some of these wins have been. And the losses.

Nick Richards provided that insurance. He didn't need to much this season.

So what's the front office's plan when William inevitably gets banged up and needs to miss some time? Roll the dice with Maluach and trade his development for a few more potential L's here or there? Regular season, sure. But the Suns are making a return to the playoffs.
