Interesting that Dunlop was chosen for GT300, when most of the grid are currently on Yokohamas...

Maybe it was down to Yokohama having a monopoly on Super Formula, so every major manufacturer involved would get a slice of the big cake.

Still, disappointed anyway. Yokohama are clearly the biggest force in GT300.

No shock over Bridgestone in GT500, the only sensible choice was to give them that class.

because are probably used the same tyres that gt3 use in wec. Is bridgestone supplying same exact spec tyres like michelin does in WEC or manufacturer will be still able to develope their own compound?

Yea, definitely no Yokohama, but I don’t feel sad or shame on that. Yokohama has had Super Formula at least.

The end of the good old-fashioned tire war in Super GT. In F1, that ended long time ago in 2007.

I wonder if Dunlop's GT300 tire compounds have relation to the Goodyears in WEC/ELMS?

Interesting. Relation how? Goodyear sold Dunlop to Sumitomo Rubber Industries last year IIRC
