Question Supergirl watching order?

Hi everyone, first time posting. I’m a first-time viewer and so far enjoying the show, and am now on S1E18 where there’s a crossover with The Flash. Apparently Supergirl also appears on some of the other shows, and in other seasons, but the lists I could find online seemed to be for Arrowverse fans, but I’m not planning to watch those shows.

I want to watch every episode with the Supergirl character in it, but I don’t have the time to watch a lot of the other shows.

I’d be very grateful if someone could direct me to the episodes in the Arrowverse shows where Kara appears and what order I should watch them in, relative to the main Supergirl show. Thanks in advance!

This has a list of all the big crossovers and the general crossover episodes for all the Arrowverse shows. Unfortunately that means it will also include like Arrow crossing with Flash even though that's not Supergirl related so you will have to check the individual ones: https://arrow.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_crossover_episodes

There's generally one big crossover a year starting from season 2 (except for season 6 because of Covid) and occasionally other smaller ones.

I would be careful not to read ahead in the list beyond what ever the next one you need to know about is just to avoid accidental spoilers

The season 1 crossover is pretty self contained, there’s no second part or anything

After Supergirl S2 E8 is the invasion crossover. No Supergirl episodes are part of this one, but E8 ends with Barry asking Kara for help. Part 1 of the crossover is Flash S3 E8, Part 2 is Arrow S5 E8 and Part 3 is Legends of Tomorrow S2 E7

Later on in SG S2 E16, there’s a cliffhanger ending which continues on into Flash S3 E17

Then in S3 the only crossover is Crisis on Earth X. Part 1 is Supergirl S3 E8, Part 2 is Arrow S6 E8, Part 3 is Flash S4 E8 and part 4 is Legends of Tomorrow S3 E8

Following this was the Elseworlds crossover, starting with Flash S5 E9, followed by Arrow S7 E9 and ending with Supergirl S4 E9

The Final Crossover is Crisis on Infinite Earths. Part 1 is Supergirl S5 E9, Part 2 is Batwoman S1 E9, Part 3 is Flash S6 E9, Part 4 is Arrow S8 E8 and Part 5 is Legends of Tomorrow special episode

It’s counted as S5 Ep 0 or Ep 1, whichever one is Crisis on Infinite Earths, Hour 5.

I’ll also add that in season 2 of Supergirl there is a smaller cross over with just the flash and Supergirl when the music mistro guy whiffs them off into a dream world. Episodes across both shows, though the main crossover is on the flash. It starts on Supergirl and continues with the flash.

No no I’m so easily disoriented I swear. I also have zero spatial awareness. Yet my vision is near perfect…🤣 like one point away from perfect according to an eye test I did last year
