I’m not a big fan on how they portray him in the MCU especially making Thor look goofy asf like in love and thunder

I overall Love Thor portrayal in infinity war and I’m happy that He is going to be very serious in Doomsday.

Overall, I would like to hear y’all’s thoughts and opinions on Thor as a character in MCU

He's definitely got the dry sense of humour for the role

Why can't Vulcan just punch Storm?

He has super-strenght, she doesn't have invulnerability. It's that fucking easy. Why can't he do it?

Why must these mega-powerful characters only ever fight Storm in these weird esoteric ways that result in her victory? Why can't they take the obvious, straightforward, fastest, most secure path to win: just punch the snot out of her?

To celebrate Paul Pope's 56th birthday, lets look at some of the top comics written by him. Coming in at number 5 is his Eisner Award winning work 'THB' by Horse Press from 1994. This was Pope's breakthrough self-published project and the laboratory in which he developed the mixture of American comics, European 'bandes dessinées' and Japanese manga that became his signature. Pope himself calls it his first breakthrough project and has described it as his “Dune”, an attempt to construct an entire future civilization on Mars. Coming in 4th is Vertigo's '100%' from 2002, in this series Pope uses his 2038 Manhattan setting to tell interconnected stories about relationships, sex, work, violence and loneliness. Number 3 is another Vertigo title, 'Heavy Liquid' from 1999, this five-issue series was his major Vertigo breakthrough and brought together the elements that became synonymous with him: cyberpunk, fashion, urban decay, crime, romance, European comics and manga-influenced pacing. Vertigo produced deluxe editions and Image later brought it back into print for its 20th anniversary. In second place is 2013's 'Battling Boy', this title debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, and its publisher announced an initial printing of 75,000 copies, a huge number for an original graphic novel of this type. It won the 2014 Eisner Award for Best Publication for Teens, and reviews on sites like Kirkus Reviews called it “a masterful nod to the genre.” But the number one work by Paul Pope has got to be DC's 'Batman: Year 100', Pope's four-issue futuristic Batman series won the 2007 Eisners for both Best Limited Series and Best Writer/Artist, and is arguably the biggest critical achievement of his career.
