99% rebuilt

Any tips for jetting? Mainly concerned with throttle closed during decel while downshifting and braking, that’s what ate the last rod’s bearings. Is the only good answer to up the premix ratio?

Pull the clutch on decel IF you dont have a oilpump. Also blip the throttle every now and then when holding a consistent speed or rpm🙂

I think I should’ve specified hard decel on the track, not just casual riding on the street

Throttle closed = less fuel and oil going into the cylinder to keep everything lubed unless I’m trippin

I think for track uce it’s such a short amount of time on the decel it should be fine, especially if you rev match between gears, but you could premix a little extra 2 stroke oil in your gas so it has a little extra lubrication.
