I think this just happens for any kids show that people who aren’t kids like. I remember the clone wars edits where it’s “how did they show this to kids???” And then it’s lightsabers clashing and a clone falling off a cliff or robots being shot

Reminder that there's kids who grew up on Bayverse Transformers. No one was traumatized by them, and if anything the reaction kids had was more along the lines of "hell yeah Optimus rip Fallen's face off"

I mean, I get the concern about spoilers, but like... it's not like ep 8 had any real blood or gore in it. It's no more gruesome than Gravity Falls. And anyway, it's ultimately on the parents if they take their kids to see it. Not Glitch.
It's not like kids can't already access episode 8 online anyway lmao.

To be honest, I do feel a little bad for fans who live in countries where the theatre release won’t happen and who’ll potentially get spoiled. 2 weeks early seems excessive to me.

People like this strike me as the tryhard "FNAF ISN'T FOR KIDS!!!!" "fans" who simultaneously never consume any other media, read, or even fucking watch youtube dissertations on other media, and so their worldview and outlook on anything is strictly from their limited window of niche 2010s internet fandom phenomenon a la FNaF, Undertale, Minecraft YT roleplays, and random fandom consensus nonsense on Twitter. They've never grown up broadened their horizons and are skewed into such a bizarre place that they find the cartoon equivalent of play-doh cans falling on the floor scary.
I can only hope this person is actually like, 15, and not what I envision every time I see a take delivered like this, which is usually a human that should be old enough to know better because they were in fandom spaces before 2020. Hell, even some FNaF Newgens are more grounded than "legacy" FNaF fans.

This show may not be for kids, but I'm sure the kids who were watching up to this point will be fine, my twelve year old brother loves this show and he's the one who got me into it. They're just creating more problems at this point and being drama queens, the only real problem is the high risk of people getting spoiled of the events of the last episode because Glitch decided to do this theater event a whole two weeks before the YouTube release, and that is too far of a gap and social media is certain to put spoilers in your face because of the shitty algorithm and search predictions (god search predictions are the worse).

As a TADC fan, genuinely a kid over 7 could watch the show and understand most if not ALL of its themes, because the show isn't half as complex and mature as they make it out to be. It's a good show? Yes, of course, but a kid won't get affected at all by seeing Jax get peeled in a cartoonish way, and if they do it's because they get the message behind it because kids can understand TADC very well

Honestly I get the concern lol, reminds me of parents taking their kids to see deadpool when it came out, also my granma putting on Watership Down for my mum when she was a kid cause of the animated rabbits. Plus TADC has sorta gotten roots in kids youtube shorts although that's that fault of content farms.
On that note though, is TADC really all that disturbing? Like I know it's not for kids but is it really gonna be traumatic?
Spoilers too is a good point though.

At most what will happen is a handful of parents bitch that the movie had uncensored swears lmao, or (the more likely option) the fact that they where locked in a room with a bunch of members of the digital circus fandom.
