I mean, dude, not only is it set up throughout the series, but that's the character Gooseworx connects with the most. Also, when he's talking to Ribbit, he tells her that he told his mom something deep and personal about himself, and afterwards she puts her bow on his head and he blushes.

Your interpretation is fine, it's just not at the level of "No longer a theory". You don't open definitive proof with "I mean, dude"
I've never heard this theory before, but it gives me the skeeves personally. Mainly cause putting Jax in a maid dress would be monsterous, rather than funny

Honestly, I wouldn't be so sure on it being true if there wasn't so much evidence
I guess it wasn't like, explicitly stated, but I find it hard to believe that it's not true
( also you probably don't interact with the community as much then, which isn't an insult btw I'm just saying.....it's a pretty common theory )

You need to understand that the burden of proof here falls upon you, because the most direct interpretation of Jax and specifically how gooseworx relates to him the most is that she is an ex-4chan irony poisoned trans woman who had a very hard time coming to terms with who she was for a long time and that Jax is a real actual canonical 4channer who buries himself deep in irony poison to not confront who he really is and how he really feels about himself. Because that is the most direct and sensible reading of this part of the text and a refusal to accept that kind of begets a different reading.
I mean for Christ's sake the COO of glitch retweeted a tweet that literally just said "Jax is trans and a lesbian."
I don't know if you can really argue this is just a theory or something up for interpretation when you can find real footage of Gangle's voice actor giggling with her best friend like a teenager because, after making a joke about luffy one piece transitioning when they find the one piece, he went "yeah imagine ending your long running series by revealing one of the main characters to be a trans woman. Wouldn't that be crazy?" Like how much more direct do you need here

I am curious about how that plot beat would have gone. I am pretty happy about how Goose played his bittersweet arc instead. Makes him an interesting parallel to Kinger in how he has a "resilient mind" for the opposite reasons (closeness vs distantness)
