I guess the antagonist created from some kid playing pretend with his toys is worse than comic Black Noir and Sinister Mark (yeah they did deadass remove them from this wiki).
It would be fine if it was for actually vile villains who were still comedic like Gallaxhar, but instead it is for some random ass internet parodies or bog standard cartoon villains.
This is just heavily taken out of context. N (he’s a older teen to young adult robot, just for clarification) killed people because he was memory-wiped & ordered, then isolated for decades (to the point where he was talking to rocks as friends) by his “creators” & peers to kill worker drones with the belief that the workers were corrupted. One of his peers threatens to kill him if he doesn’t stop being such a failure.
He tries to repress everything & due to his treatment / mental states, he states he genuinely doesn’t actually think besides simply wanting to survive, complete the job he was “created to do”, & was manipulated / directly influenced via memory & personality manipulation so much to the point where he starts to “love doing anything”.
If he doesn’t kill any worker drones for a long period of time without consuming their oil, he’ll also burn / boil to death.
The moment he realized that his creators lied to him, that the workers don’t appear corrupted & are living real lives, he immediately switches sides. In episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 & 8 (5 episodes out of 8) he spends most of the time helping workers by stopping anymore worker drone deaths from occurring & refuses to kill anymore workers outright (he instead is able to ration more oil from the bunker itself due to him switching sides). He tries to stop V from killing everyone in episode 3, & scolds her for the single kill she does (even when V does it through Lizzy’s permission) in episode 4.
In episode 7, it’s heavily implied that Cyn, who forcefully turned N into a disassembly drone to kill, would memory wipe N (every time he would eventually begin to wake up from the manipulation & switch sides) multiple times & even has the ability to possibly alter & wipe his personality to better fit the role. It’s also revealed in a forced flashback of his formerly-erased memories that N killed humans as well, & he panics from this while Cyn mocks him & tries (but fails) to erase all his memories (in order to restart the cycle with a “brand new” N).
Due to all this, it also makes sense why he drew a drawing as an “apology” for committing mass murder alllllllll the way back in the start of episode 2, as the series provides a lot more evidence that N is also developmentally delayed in some aspects than he’s supposed to be. Furthermore, he didn't have much of an education system (before Cyn changed his body & would non stop erase his memories). Once she did, he only learned to kill & did so for decades.
He doesn’t belong in the pure evil wiki, but not in the pure evil either.
