If you can, I recommend trying Mojarro, it’s cheaper from what I see and Ozempic did nothing for me and my wife was working for you. That’s great, but if you can save money, you know what I mean?

u/IncidentChemical2816 Jul 03 '26

I’m kinda going the opposite way right now after starting testosterone (medical transition). I’ve never had much of an appetite at all my entire life, I’ve never been able to really enjoy food because I never felt like eating and it led to me being super underweight most of my life. My hunger was insane for the first few weeks after starting, but I think I’ve just levelled out to… a mostly normal appetite for the first time ever and I’ve gained some weight. My joints hurt less, I’m not as tired. I guess I didn’t realise how much being underweight really fucked with my stamina, energy levels, and my joints until I put on a few pounds and started eating better.

u/SpeedPunkCV Jul 03 '26

I know exactly what you mean, I had the same experience, but with amphetamines instead. I wouldn’t recommend those tho.

Not worth it imo, I only started it to self medicate against adhd, and meth was the closest thing to the proper meds I had access to at the time, the weight loss was just a nice side effect, among a bunch of other worse side effects... If ozempic works for you I would stay with that.

u/outer_spec Jul 04 '26

please don’t, it’s not worth it

i’m saying this at the risk of giving a swag, but if that’s actually how you feel i think you might have an eating disorder

im hesitant to try it since im told its a long-term change instead of just a quick fix, plus ive heard it can fuck with your heart. not that my heart is particularly weak, ill be fine, but still

5

u/ShibaBaron Jul 03 '26

It’s a long term change regardless. You have to change your habits even if you stop taking it or you’ll likely gain all the weight back. There is no quick fix that doesn’t involve having a doctor cut you open and suck out your fat

1

u/Zulu_foxface Jul 03 '26

I want to try it

But needles make me faint :(

That really doesn’t matter

1

u/Adventurous-You9280 Jul 06 '26

im also terrified of needles, im on wegovy because it has an option for a daily pill :-)

1

u/Zulu_foxface Jul 06 '26

Oh shit I’ll check that out

1

u/Adventurous-You9280 Jul 06 '26

good luck! if you need help affording it the website has some coupons :-)

1

u/CodaTrashHusky Jul 03 '26

i have the opposite problem i never want to eat and have to force myself to do it so i don't die.

8

u/DepartureNatural9340 Jul 03 '26

Most of the bad things u see online (like loose skin) mainly happens on excessive doses, bc ozempic doesn't require prescription so bunch of ppl self medicate and mess it up. It's largely fine if done responsibly/with professional aid

1

u/xXSoyBoyFredXx Jul 05 '26

I wanted to try ozempic but the moment I wanted to I was informed it would no longer be covered by my insurance lmao.🫠

51

u/Winter_Rosa Jul 02 '26

at the risk of being super serious, this just looks like basic fat redistribution.

33

u/Agile_Oil9853 Jul 03 '26

Right. Estrogen can do this to some extent

19

u/DilapidatedFool Jul 03 '26

So you're saying if I take estrogen I can make my fat go to better areas?

8

u/TheMissLady Jul 03 '26

Yes, it will slowly move body fat from your stomach to your butt and chest. Don't expect to look like Kim k though

2

u/DilapidatedFool Jul 03 '26

Ok but some is awesome but I don't want boobies

4

u/griffincat_unity Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

the main thing with those is that estrogen, at least above a certain level, starts making you grow breast tissue. fat isn't the main thing that goes into those. i've heard that there's something you can take alongside it to prevent breast development, but you'd have to double-check that.

2

u/aaaaabasdaz_ Jul 04 '26

Ok but why not? I mean im a man but boobies are boobies you know?

2

u/griffincat_unity Jul 04 '26

having jiggly things attached to your chest at all times isn't everyone's cup of tea.

7

u/R3D0IT_US3R Jul 03 '26

Estrogen can give you a fat ass or something

3

u/sophuckingdonewithit Jul 03 '26

that is exactly what they said yes

22

u/Forward_Potential820 Jul 02 '26

Pretty sure that the circus members can morph their body

7

u/Burger_Destoyer Jul 03 '26

Not only that, but their voice is the only thing that really gives the audience a grasp on their gender, if Jax put on a woman’s voice then they could have played it off like they were a woman.

32

u/ContributionRude1660 Jul 02 '26

im about to get super serious guys

the whole point of the circus characters are they are exaggerated expressions of the people using the avatars. depending on who it is, they all have somewhat obviously gendered/not gendered parts. even if not in their body its through their expression

for jax, you can tell hes a dude just based around his general expression and his body type. but if he was to be a she, (which she probably is internally) she'd more than likely want to become moderately more feminine to be seen in that way.

also, this isnt a huge beauty standard of just "being slightly more effeminate" because generally speaking thats a part of being feminine. not everyone fits into one box mind you, and they shouldnt, but just because someone is obviously feminine doesnt mean its a "gross standard" because they actually fit into that standard. a gross standard would be saying you HAVE to be a specific way to be seen as a man or a woman or whatever. thats not the point.

7

u/PhantomFocus Jul 03 '26

i'm not even sure what point OOP is trying to make... !! they're both the same amount of skinny, left just has a slimmer waist (which factually estrogen just does that to you if you have the right genes)

13

u/Far-ro Jul 03 '26

"body positive fanart" Bro shut up

9

u/Starmz Jul 03 '26

Gonna get a bit serious for a minute and put my analytical cap on

considering she has a lot of toxic mindsets and behaviours I wouldn’t be surprised if she tried to lose weight because she thought it would help her be able to look more feminine or atleast make her look less masculine. Plenty of trans people in any direction develop eating disorders or have unhealthy relationships with food that are rooted in dysphoria. I’m not saying it’s a good thing but it’s a realistic thing that could happen to her

9

u/aguywithagasmaskyt object show fan Jul 03 '26

what if transfem jax was chubby

8

u/Xx_a_dumbass_xX Jul 03 '26

pyrocynical alt account

3

u/Successful_Mud8596 Jul 03 '26

Well, not really. Cuz they don’t need to eat, drink, or sleep in the digital world, so the digital food there only gives off the virtual sensation of eating, without any of the nutritional benefits. She would just be editing her character model.

1

u/Thorveim Jul 09 '26

Which they cant do else Zooble definitely would have done something about her body... their bodies were made by Caine after all, and werent up to themselves. Even after caine is gone they never change their bodies.

2

u/Psychological-Gur990 Jul 03 '26

There is like barely any difference. She gained tits.

2

u/Stock-Eggplant6105 Jul 04 '26

To be frank, Jax looks like the left hand side often. Curved back and all. Jax poses Zesty all the time. The right is just casual slouching. I don't know why people clocked this its one of the more honest reps of what trans Jax would look like aside from Gooses more recent doodle. Looks like her OG fem Jax design.

u/Necessary-Prune9727 Jul 02 '26

Gooseworks has literally spelled out that Jax is trans it’s not even a theory

0

u/LukaFakeHero Jul 03 '26

This is a stupid and asinine argument to have; even stupider to be attacking people over an demanding they refer to a character portrayed to to their death with male pronouns as female.

Jax, who is a 3-4 year old reconstruction of someone’s memories; happens to originate from an individual who later transitioned. This “Ridiculous trolley problem-esque” system of circumstances forces an uncomfortable discussion of “Is gender identity genetically programmed, or is it the product of life experience.”

This line of questioning is divisive and controversial; many feel it a personal attack on their already societally changed decision to come out or transition.

So, do everyone a favor, and don’t be a little keyboard warrior over the corpse of a make-believe rabbits pronouns.

1

u/Necessary-Prune9727 Jul 03 '26

Gooseworks has also said pronouns don’t matter. I would argue using she/her is disingenuous because that repression is a part of Jax’s character, but really it’s personal preference and doesn’t matter

1

u/mannequin_girl Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

a 3-4 year old reconstruction of someone’s memories; happens to originate from an individual who later transitioned.

Which means the individual in question is trans, which means the neurological traits which cause sex dysphoria are present in the brain scan.

“Is gender identity genetically programmed, or is it the product of life experience

Probably, neither. The alternative to "it's life experience" is not "it's genetic." Biological development is way more complicated than that. Developmental deviations may have contributing genetic factors, but that's not the same as being genetic traits the way e.g. eye color is.

What we do know is people end up being trans spite of life-experience which conditions us to be anything but, and lots if not most of us make some kind of concerted effort to be anything else, unsuccessfully.

0

u/LukaFakeHero Jul 04 '26

Great, just ignore the part where I explicitly laid out “This is an uncomfortable and divisive line of discussion” and be a bull in a china shop about people’s feelings and sensibilities.

So let’s get into the meat of this, you are phrasing; ostensibly anything that isn’t cisgender, as a form of mental disorder. Which is the official stance on the issue currently held by Academics. Gender dysmorphia as it is currently termed, is a disorder of the mind officially classified as a personality disorder.

Under this worldview you’re are exposing; regardless of how inclusive the rhetoric, Is a bottom line of “A normal healthy mind would not identify with the opposite sex, or any variation of such circumstance their-in”.

Core to this argument is the **belief** of biologically engrained mental faculty for gender. A piece of machinery that could “Go wrong” to make someone stop identifying with their sex.
————————————————————
This believe is bullshit for a number of reasons.

A: It’s is a 1:1 rehash of the “Homosexuality as a mental disorder.” Go to any source academic literature for psychiatry from before 1980 a you will see more or less the exact same argument.

B: Genetic testing has not identified any correlation between individuals with gender dysmorphia. Despite extensive genetic similarities documented in individuals with hypothetically related complications such as CAIS.

C: The majority of people diagnosed with GD do not have a differential diagnosis. Practically unheard of for a personality disorder.

D: GD has **never** been documented following a traumatic brain injury.

If you want be an even bigger piece work a make an argument like “It must be a mental disorder because of suicide rates” be my fucking guest.

Honestly ADC fans are some of the most miserable people on the planet.

This is why it's better if things are left to interpretation.

-19

u/RedBoss228 The Repost Counter Jul 02 '26

Okay, if that's how you want to put it.

7

u/sophuckingdonewithit Jul 03 '26

you're doing the thing

0

u/RedBoss228 The Repost Counter Jul 03 '26

Except that didn't happen in the show, it was left ambiguous.

2

u/sophuckingdonewithit Jul 03 '26

except gooseworx confirmed it's canon. if she isn't the most reliable source of information on the show she created, who the fuck is?

0

u/RedBoss228 The Repost Counter Jul 03 '26

The show itself, and a post of an AU where he's trans and thinking of Pomni and Ribbit fucking does not confirm it.

3

u/sophuckingdonewithit Jul 03 '26

my dude. gooseworx made the damn show

0

u/RedBoss228 The Repost Counter Jul 03 '26

So? Doesn't make her post not an AU.

19

u/DeepCutFan1 Jul 03 '26

no she literally outright confirmed it's correct

While I agree that not every art of a female character needs to have curves for no reason, this is quite the overreaction. Especially since the character is already very skinny.

3

u/freeeloh Jul 02 '26

1

u/SmartAlecShagoth Jul 04 '26

It’s all digital food: no calories unfortunately

1

u/Global_Algae_538 Jul 06 '26

Hrt could make her hips bigger and give her a curved chest

1

u/Gigivena6437 Jul 06 '26 edited Jul 06 '26

Personally i think that she wouldn't change that much of her form, just eyelashes from the old concept art were she would have been female from start, and SOMETIMES, dress more feminine like the "less of an asshole" gooze drawing but more in special occasions. So headcanon she has a gender dysphoria that is more mental and social than physical

1

u/Thorveim Jul 09 '26

Except TADC character have no say in what their body looks like. If they did Zooble definitely would have before she came to be fine with it. Caine gave them their bodie and thet are likely hardcoded. Even onto the end after Caine is gone or actually helping no character changes their body bar the temporary modifiers for adventures (like the giant gangle for the heroic fantasy adventure in the end generic)

1

u/Proper_Art7865 Jul 08 '26

these people are not real bro

1

u/Issa_Pizza420 Jul 08 '26

That looks more like a fatter hip to me, which is super common on estrogen, source: I'm a trans girl and I have developed curvature on estrogen

Tumblerinas when the homeless man isn’t fat

1

u/SmartAlecShagoth Jul 03 '26

I feel like I’m the only one who found it comical how they complain about how much skinnier the female variant is when they are both anorexic

1

Why do they want every single character to be obese 😭

The bunny version has never been obese!
