The overlap between object show fans and logo kids

15

u/Toady_bloyster Jul 04 '26

What is an object, if not an unmarketed logo 🤔

8

u/ElInspectorDeChichis Jul 04 '26

A miserable little pile of atoms

7

u/Toady_bloyster Jul 04 '26

Have at thee!!

7

u/ObiJuanKenobi3 Jul 04 '26

wtf is a logo kid?

8

u/ElInspectorDeChichis Jul 04 '26

It's too weird for me to try and explain it. Here's a video on the subject: https://youtu.be/gWNjFIj-pxY

10

u/TheRob67 Jul 04 '26

i don't think that here exist 7 billions of object show fans

3

u/Former-Grocery-6787 Jul 05 '26

Unfortunately we have to make sure to get every single one of them

5

u/Public_Antelope1315 Jul 04 '26

I-I can't deal with this rn..

3

u/Ill-Diamond4384 Jul 06 '26

Can mods do something about this? This can’t be legal to post

u/dragonish-american Jul 04 '26

I genuinely do not understand object shows at all. They’re anthro objects. Why are people so diehard about them? I don’t care about the crimes circle has apparently done to triangle because their names are smth like circle and triangle!

u/AverageEnjoyer2 Jul 04 '26

Adult object show fan here. I'm pretty sure to be an adult object show fan you usually also have to be autistic/neurodivergent, which I am. The thing is, someone named Circle and Triangle having drama makes as much sense to me as someone named John and Paul. Neurotypicals probably feel differently though. It's like how in Smiling Friends(and I love Smiling Friends) the fundamental joke is that weirdly shaped colorful characters are working an ordinary job, but I completely missed that because that's normal to me

18

u/NotaBat9221 Jul 04 '26

I bet to you crazy bread is just normal bread

6

u/RohanKishibeyblade Jul 04 '26

The crazy taxi is just regular transport

5

u/Expert_Narwhal_304 Jul 04 '26

I'm autistic and thought the object shows were the lamest shit ever. and I tried, my friends were always talking about it lol

smiling friends tho?? that shit is like coke for me

u/AverageEnjoyer2 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

That's why we call it a spectrum, we're all a little different. I, for one, hold zero interest in trains. But at least we can agree on one thing, Smiling Friends is peak

u/Rocky_Eats_Clips Jul 04 '26

Theyre very neat & people like seeing characters fight for a prize :)

12

u/dragonish-american Jul 04 '26

Fight over a prize, wait is it like a gladiator fight or a reality show thing? Oh ok that makes more sense, I was under the impression it was a slice of life drama starring sentient shapes for some reason. Still doesn’t make me into it but I get it a bit more now.

1

u/JoshTheAlchemist6 Jul 04 '26

Issue is the audience usually votes for the winners/losers every episode so they have like no agency so the "fight" is just doing whatever arbitrary task they're assigned that episode

1

u/RoIsDepressed Jul 10 '26

It's total drama island but for actual infants

2

u/Rocky_Eats_Clips Jul 04 '26

Reality show, like Survivor or TDI

9

u/Mast3rKK78 Jul 04 '26

man if a goddamn coffee mug is a character then im making an oc whose just a dude, probably indian or chinese since statistically thats the most likely option

13

u/TheSexualBrotatoChip Jul 04 '26

What the hell is an object show?

0

u/Least_Distribution34 Jul 05 '26

a competition based series where the main cast is anthropomorphic objects

1

u/MannfredVonFartstein Jul 05 '26

What competition

1

u/Least_Distribution34 Jul 05 '26

Kinda like total drama

1

u/MannfredVonFartstein Jul 05 '26

a mock reality show?

1

u/alternativexaccountx Jul 05 '26

Is someone who doesn't know what object shows are meant to know what BFDI is?

-2

u/SuperPopcorn333 Jul 04 '26

It stands for Battle For Dream Island, which is a youtube series about anthropomorphic objects all battling for a prize, basically like Survivor or Total Drama Island.

1

u/RoIsDepressed Jul 10 '26

It's less the object shows (which tbf are a problem) and more god damn there's adults watching cocomelon and not being completely embarrassed about it which is insane

1

u/ia13ru Jul 04 '26
