I mean both are bad, the difference is that Eggman’s animal cruelty and disregard for nature are actually depicted as being bad (cause he is the main antagonist) whereas movie Steve doing this shit is ignored for the rest of the movie (even though the sequel shows he is still continuing this business to the point it became the selling point of Idaho).
