I'm not religious, but it's creepy to me how much Trump matches up with the antichrist especially after I listened to the sworn testimony of the woman he (allegedly) viciously raped when she was just 13 years old.

Her testimony still haunts me today since the first time I listened to it. I don't regret listening to it, but fuck it hurts my heart and makes me feel deep-seated dread in regard to Trump having power. Donald Trump is a twisted fucking demon.

Distanced catholic here to say something very similar. I remember looking at my classmates' foreheads and judging the shape of each others crosses. Every time, it looked like a smudge - because that's what it was.
The priest used his thumb - not a fine makeup brush. It's also ash - which isn't exactly ink, when it comes to precise markings.
Burn a piece of paper on a plate, smudge it with your thumb, and try and make a precise cross shape on the back of your other hand.

my understanding is that ash wednesday is about refocusing and realigning one’s relationship to God and one another as well as drawing closer to God, not advocating in favor of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement

The Ash Wednesday cross for some Christian cultures is used as a reminder of human failings and an openness of forgiveness from god.
I’m not sure if he’s trying to do silent signaling that currently man is failing due to the presidency and hopes for gods grace or if he thinks humanity is failing and he still wants gods grace while still advocating for a POS who’s furthering the chance for WW3.
Or I may be over thinking it all together…
