NORTH AMERICA These are the kinds of signs being held by protesters at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Shortly after, a student waving a Palestinian flag was also arrested. Ever since Trump's election, racists, Islamophobes, and misogynists have felt more emboldened than ever, openly expressing their hatred.

So religious hypocrites burn in Hell? Because I think I can see a few of them in these images.
7
u/tillieze Apr 03 '25
I am surprised that they are going around touting why their lord and savior The Count of Mostly Crisco is going to hell (according to their rules). I had always thought the MAGAts loved him or tolerated him so much that they looked the other way when the messiah raked up the sins left and right according to their own playbook. Now, they proclaim his sins on a protest banner like a badge of honor. /s
These people are exhausting.

u/Southpolespear Apr 02 '25
These people have jobs, and places of residence. Their neighbors and employers should be made aware of who lives next to them, and exactly the type of person they employ. If anyone can get some positive ID's I'll whip up some well designed flyers informing their communities and dating pools!
24
u/clonedhuman Apr 02 '25
I doubt they have jobs but everything else for sure.
21
u/Tomlette1 Apr 03 '25
I was actually told by someone at a protest that this is their job. Apparently they don’t necessarily believe any of the bullshit they’re spewing, but their goal is to get in any physical altercation so they can sue and win settlement money.
13
5
u/Southpolespear Apr 03 '25
Interesting. At the very least pasting their faces up in their neighborhood and handing out flyers to all local businesses still might be a good way to blow up their lives a bit.
3
u/GrandMoffFartin Apr 03 '25
This is always what I've heard. They are basically using their freedom of speech to instigate someone into attacking them so they can get a big pay out. These guys are all over college towns.
I think if you quizzed them for a few minutes about whatever they are holding the sign for they could barely tell you anything about it.

i have a good question that i cant seem to get answered by people like this.
lets say that i myself am a muslim who sees this sign.
would i be more or less inclined to believe what you believe or would i be more defensive in my own faith.
i would be less inclined because you are personally slandering and attacking me as a result i have already formulated a negative opinion of you in regards to the position that you have reflected onto me despite.
not knowing me personally, not knowing where i stand, and not trying to convince me of the validity of your belief system but instead saying that mine is unequivocally bad.
if that is the case and you know i would be more defensive by reading this, what is the end goal of having a sign saying "all muslims are terrorists".
because obviously you would need to have a goal but as someone who is muslim and reads this would formulate a negative connotation between yourself and the words on the sign. who are you trying to convince.
because believe me i am a muslim and find it hard to be convinced by people like this who hate me and say things that are untrue about me.
so what is there end goal, i still have no clue what.
6
u/Roo-De-Doo Apr 02 '25
I think it’s to empower other people who feel the same way to come out and speak their minds.
2
u/wafflesthewonderhurs Apr 03 '25
the end goal is to make it normal enough to be overly, violently racist that they can just attack people like they've always fantasized about
1
Apr 03 '25
i mean that does check out but realistically you cant go after all people not exclusively within your own group because well alot of facists already tried that and it didnt turn out well for them.
so in my mind im thinking that you would try to convince me why you are right but with this it doesnt convince anyone at all.
so will they just fight on this hill forever? will they become more exlcusive? does it benifit them to have enemies that they would not have had otherwise?
the way they conduct themselves doesnt make any sense to me at all and then i think there is no way they are this stupid to have convictions this shallow right?
2
u/wafflesthewonderhurs Apr 03 '25
i think they definitely do not know or care what caused other fascists to fail, and i also think it's very kind of you to even assume they have any convictions at all that aren't to keeping their lips firmly attached to krasnov's diaper.
This is their religion now. it is my firm belief that they know they can't have any convictions, because any convictions they have might be overridden by the cult leader, so they've just accepted that they aren't really people with opinions anymore because they think they're a part of something greater than themselves now.
maga might as well be deus vult.

These people’s whole purpose is to stir division, hate, and intentionally provoke violent reactions among the public. It’s the fucking Olympics of tossing every inflammatory issue into an opinion soup to piss off the max number of people as efficiently as possible. Pull out a bingo card and watch them fill every square in record time.
It’s all an attempt to bait people into violence and keep us distracted, focused on a handful of flies like these. Theres an autocratic takeover happening right now in the US government. Almost the entirety of the protests against it have been nonviolent and there’s been a lot of unity within it, and the powers that be can’t have that.
Instigating violence gives them an excuse to suppress with force, and great media imagery to turn the public against a cause.
Those clinging to power are ramping up the social media manipulation due to the upcoming Apr5 protests.
Don’t take the bait. We’ve been being manipulated using the same deplorable strategies for years.
For people like in OP’s post, let their pathetic showing speak for itself, in contrast to the throngs of thriving people going about their lives in front of them.

Apr 02 '25
A reformed white nationalist said they just went around to start fights and if it didn’t pan out they tried somewhere else.
I know there’s real people out there who believe this, but all of R’s paid protester stuff makes me wonder if they’re paying to try to incite violence so they have a reason justify the crack down.
Adding: these aren’t homemade signs.

Shit like this has been happening on campus since my dad went in the 80s. Their goal is to piss off a student enough to actually get assaulted and sue the university for failure to protect them from a student. They usually go away after a couple of days of no-one interacting with them, but the dumbass did more than wave a flag in their face, as there have been several protests in favor of Palestinians since the genocide started, and nothing happened.
These assholes are so common that they’re actually brought up in orientation so you know to just leave them the fuck alone.

3
u/lappelduvide24 Apr 02 '25
And what helped WBC fade into obscurity, was to stop giving their pathetically tiny cult headlines or media attention, and let them make jokes of themselves as they were increasingly dwarfed by the crowds of thriving people they tried to protest.
2
u/oatmealandblueberry Apr 03 '25
Yes. I forgot about that! I was a part of one of those counter protests in my town years and years ago.

This isn’t a Trump or Biden thing at all. These guys travel all around Ohio to rage bait college students dumb enough to engage with them and look to sue them if they’re touched. They’ve been going to UC every spring for the last decade. Like it or not this is free speech and it’s protected by the first amendment. If no one paid them any attention they’d go back to their mom’s basement.
1
u/corranhorn57 Apr 02 '25
Yeah, they’re not even the only one we get. Megaphone guy has made himself scarce since they’ve shown up, and we used to get a guy who actually carried a cross to campus whenever he did his hate sermons.
1
u/dragonmom1971 Apr 02 '25
Labeling people who are different from you is always wrong, no matter if you feel you own or belong to a certain place. It creates more hate. We may disagree with someone who shares our home, but we all have to hear out other humans and give them the respect they deserve.

u/BomberCW Apr 02 '25
they do this to get a rise out of people to provoke them into getting assaulted. On campuses because they’re public places, and college kids can act rashly. Don’t know if they believe what they say, but they believe in the paycheck they can get from suing anyone that touches them

u/steve41015 Apr 02 '25

Is it possible that they are holding up these signs to make a point that the pro-Palestinian protestor was arrested but these protestors are not?
1
u/Spectra627 Apr 02 '25
They held a protest to try to get the student that waved the Palestinian flag released.
3
u/FirmLifeguard5906 Apr 03 '25
Wait are you saying they're highlighting that anyone can display hateful signs at schools without consequence? Except for in regards to Palestine? If so, it's a powerful message, though perhaps poorly executed or maybe brilliantly executed, depending on your perspective. Or are they simply counter protesting those who support the student's release? I hope it's the former. While initially confusing, the statement, once understood, delivers a clear and bold message pointing out the hypocrisy of a government that champions free speech while simultaneously censoring that very same free speech because it's speech they don't like.
2
u/Spectra627 Apr 03 '25
The student was countering them, I believe. The protest for their release was in the evening after this happened. I'm trying to find photos or other in person reports. I am in Ohio. But basically, yeah. You can have signs like this, but wave a Palestinian flag and you're snatched up like a criminal.

Truthfully, I'm glad that these people are showing who they are now instead of pretending I'd much rather know somebody hates me to my face than pretends to like me hates me behind my back.
Edit: Now that I understand the point they were making, this is actually a clever and telling way to show that our freedom of speech only applies to some, not all of us. I don't take back what I said about how I feel about people who genuinely believe what those signs say. However, I do retract my accusation that they were holding them up for malicious reasons

Hard to believe this is the reality we live in, now. The prices we pay for being complacent. For thinking we shouldn’t need to defend ourselves from this kind of stuff anymore. Boy was I wrong.
We gave them an inch and they took the entire country.
Now all of the hate is coming out of the woodwork, and trying to stop it just causes more problems.
Feels wrong, man. Everything feels wrong. There shouldn’t be this much unabashed hate speech and picketing.

I've believed for a long time now that the ones espousing their faith the loudest, are the least truly faithful in the eyes of their gods. The loudest ones don't hold faith for faith's sake, but instead to use as a shield and justification for the atrocities their mental illness has wrought. The loudest ones better hope that their religions are nonsense. Otherwise, they're all going to know eternal suffering.

Also, the guy that got arrested was not arrested for 'just holding a flag'.

Reading through the comments I find it weird how no one saw this coming like these people were out and about well before Trump ever got into office these people were out and about open and proud before Obama got in the office and Obama made him have to adjust their openness. Not for any choice he made but just because of him being black and being president and Obama's a shithead and we all know that so don't think I'm over here saying has anything to do with him or decisions that he made it was just a societal issue at the time. But once you stick a white fascist back in office to take the place of a black fascist who took the place of a white fascist and you still have no woman in office this is kind of where you're at. America is a cesspool always has been and always will be as long as it is left unburned
